What was your first bad game and why?

I'll start:Acme Arsenal

Reasons: Buggy, bland gameplay, sh*tty level design and muddled textures, boring weapons, clunky controls, bad camera, terrible AI and hit detection and completely unfunny (not what you want in a game based around the Looney Tunes).

Well, probably Top Gun: Combat Zones, in my opinion.

It was released and I got it in like 2001 or so, but it was still a badly implemented fighter jet simulator I guess. The handling was ok, but the game could've been better overall.

Oh yes, I remember that game. I played it one time and then shelved it. But I think the worst fighter jet simulator has to be Independence Day for the Playstation. Here's a hilarious review of it: http://cinemassacre....dependence-day/

That's kind of a hard thing to think of. When I was a kid, I played the living sh*t out of every single one of my games, even if, looking back now, they were pretty sh*tty. I'd play Donkey Kong Country as much as some sh*tty shovelware movie tie-in.

One game that totally pissed me off though was The Italian Job for the ps1, published by Rockstar. I didn't spend more than half an hour on that one until I got pissed. Must have been like 9.

Umm... Minesweeper? What a total waste of time game that is.

Impossible for me to try and remember what the worst game was out of those that were actually bought. I've been playing for far too long.

While not a bad game, It was the first game I absolutely hated and couldn't stand to play was Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee.

The whole game was just depressing, slow and not something 10 year old me wanted to play.

Prolly the worst xmas gift ever as I had almost no games for my Playstation.

Hey, you take that back! Just because its very basic and simple doesn't make it a waste of time.

Honestly can't remember, maybe the Cars video game but that was around 2006 and I'd definitely played worse games before that. Probably some NFS game I can't remember.

I liked every game when I was younger so I don't know, and ever since I've been using the internet I've been able check online to see if a game is good so i haven't got any bad games recently.

All I can think of was maybe Blast Corps for N64.

A good game sure, but a little repetitive and it seemed like it should have been more than it actually was, free roam was just an illusion.

Besides, a kid spending £50 of their hard earned pocket money on a game like that hurt a little to the point where you just had to shut up and enjoy it or dwell on the mistake. So eventually you found your own fun in it.

GTA V. It's the only game I've ever sold after purchase, let alone less than a month after purchase.

50 Cent: Bulletproof(PS2). I played it back in 2006 and it was freaking abysmal, a really terrible game.

The free roam it was supposed to have was limited to an area of less than 150 square meters and the gameplay was unbearable.

Maybe Headhunter. I never thought it was very good, but at the same time I have a lot of nostalgic memories of playing it with one of my old friends at the weekends. I would probably enjoy it more if I went back to it now because of that.

Otherwise, I usually only buy games that I'm certain I'm going to enjoy. I'm fairly picky.

Oh man, that game was literally my favourite during childhood even though it was hard as f*ck. I didn't find it depressing though since there's slapstick humour and a fart button.

Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly.

Its terrible, glitchy as hell, has bad voice acting, and the level designs are really dull.

Hmm, probably would be Conflict Desert Storm 2 for PS2.

And also I should note that I've played countless sh*tty demos for PS2 and PS3. I'm sure everyone could

say this. Thank you sh*tty demos for saving me money.

Pretty hard decision for me since I rarely ever buy a game without knowing how good/bad it is to others.. therefore the earliest I remember ever being disappointed in a game was probably

Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi for the PS2, it was extremely difficult and once you beat the game it was pretty much a boring grind of the same mission over and over again just to unlock every single character in the end.

I've played a fair few mediocre games, but the first game that I got that I can actually call bad is a 7th gen game is:

Pac Man for the Atari 2600.  The world (me included) had Pac Man fever...and it felt so good.

Then Atari had to f*ck with us and give us this piece of sh*t to play at home.

Me and my bro got this for free when we bought our ps1. For such a bullsh*tty game I cant believe how long I spent playing it. Probably because we didnt have much else and the graphics were awesome at the time.

I like this game. Sure, it has some bad parts such as Sheva's AI when it comes to ammo since she wastes it all, and Wesker who is absolutely ridiculous and not in a good way. Despite those things, I personally feel its nowhere near as bad as people say it is.

6 was a bad RE game, mainly due to the controls, too many invincible monsters, and exessive use of QTE's.

I still play IV & EFLC occasionally, because they have far superior vehicles and driving/ damage physics, period.

GTA V felt like NFS meets Gran Turismo with every driving assist known to man in play; not worth £35 IMO.
