Never been to a gym and I am trying to become an ex-potato. It's a weird in-between because I try to do something like say, go for a walk each day but I often find myself feeling the complete opposite a few days later. I can get a good thing going but I will always end up skipping a day or two and getting a bit sad which has a not so lovely way of welcoming back my bad eating habits.

 A pizza is much more enjoyable than a 6am jog, followed by a salad.

Once you get used to running, it will be an enjoyable part of your routine and eating the pizza will make you feel guilty and shameful all day and like you need to go run more.

 

I ate a hamburger for lunch yesterday and I was feeling like a disgrace for the entire evening and into this morning.

 

 

Hell no, I'll never feel guilty about the things I eat. I have a naturally high metabolism (though I do have a little bit of pudge, but not too much) so I don't need to worry about this. Honestly, even if I was obese I'd still choose a pulled pork BBQ sandwich over a salad anyday.

 

That being said, I do need more exercise. I take my dog out for walks, and since he pulls a lot, it's more excercise for me. In the spring, summer and fall, I usually walk everywhere I need to go. I also get a bit of a workout when I help my dad with his carpentry and renovating jobs, though there isn't much to do in the winter.

 

Joining a gym would be pointless, as I'd maybe go once a week tops.

Certain insurance plans reimburse you if you go 'x' amount of times per year. You should check if yours does.

I'll work out 3-4 times a week but I wouldn't describe myself as gym rat.

I'm in the middle. I like playing sports like cricket and football (the one where the foot is actually used :lol: ), but I like playing on the PS3 or going on my computer from time to time.

Don't lie, you get your excerise assulting the people of los santos who's crime was looking at you while they walked pass lol

There are catatonic days where all I can do is rock back and forth at the horror, but most of the time I try to keep active. My mind races and if I stay still I tend to become unstable. Best to expend energy in productive habits if you can help it.

I exercise enough to maintain what I enjoy eating. Plus all the other benefits to exercise hugely satisfy me. Knowing that you're doing something to keep yourself healthy is a massive weight of guilt off your shoulders and a great high.

Yes, I agree. I never take baths because, you know, I will always get dirty afterwards. I don't have sex nor do I masturbate because no matter what, I will be sexually aroused again. 

 

I go to the gym for around 1 or 2 hours a day (I rest on Sundays) but aside from that and school, I am a couch potato.

 

On a side note, I notice that many of you have the common belief which dictates that a salad is healthy, or that going to the gym=cardio. You can have a healthy life and eat pizza every day.

You just have to learn about your body, balance calories in vs calories out and if you want to go further, track your macros/vitamins. Sounds hard at first, but it's actually kinda fun.

 

And for those thinking that going to the gym is just cardio and/or picking sh*t up the floor, I strongly suggest you to watch some Elliott Hulse.

I'm in the middle. I don't exactly go to the gym every day.. I run outside too, and for the time being I only go to the gym twice a week. I was so sad though because today when I went I ended up kind of sorta ripping my workout pants. I have no idea how. I guess my nails were sharp? Anyway, the hole was very big so I tried working out in the pants I was already wearing.. my black jeans...... errr I lasted like 15 minutes and went home because it was so uncomfortable.
