You could supply a little more information.

Which version did you buy, the DVD (v2) or the legit Download (v3),

include the following information:

  • Operating system (Windows users: be sure to mention if you have Vista/XP/7/8, and which Service Pack you have)
  • Video/Graphics card type + graphics memory (is it dedicated or shared)?
  • Processor
  • RAM (random access memory)
  • Did you have mods installed?
  • if this problem occurred suddenly did any of your drivers update? or did you install new hardware? (Try deleting the gta_sa.set file.)
  • Did you cheat?
  • If it is DVD installed, are you playing with that DVD in the Drive?

Which platform are you on?

If on PC, are you using any mods?

I agree with Girish.

If you have mods or if you have an RIP (Downloaded) version of the game (As i had earlier :p) you may crash upon reaching certain places.  I have had the same error at San fierro and las venturas before i threw the RIP and bought an original one.  P.S.  You may crash if you have map/cleo mods as well.
