I think that they are defined by RGBA values.

Only 2 places in the EXE had to be altered in order to allow wars with them:

Now gonna try showing their colours on the map. I'm pretty sure they do exist.

This will better than my cleo script.  I Use Cheat Engine too!

OK, so the formula for zone RGB colour is

(Groves RGB * Groves density + Ballas RGB * Ballas density + Vagos RGB * Vagos density) / (Groves density + Ballas density + Vagos density)

Therefore, when this is rewritten to take all 10 gangs into account, their colours should appear on the map just fine :)
Too boring to do via CLEO hooking. Moving to ASI now.

I think that it would be kinda cool to combine my mod with those gang wars. Think, have 10 gangs to war with, with them having turf all over SA. Wow. This would be a lot of fun :devil:. Btw, Silent, take use of the PS2 codes by ric-013 for their colors, you can find them in my topic too ;)

Btw, Silent, take use of the PS2 codes by ric-013 for their colors, you can find them in my topic too ;)

Defensive gang wars (gang-attack-your-turf one) may be a bit harder to implement... Still doable though.

Yes, there is a glitch which lets you others attack you. Simply kill 3 Ballas/Vagos in Azteca's turf, then drive to the attack and see them Aztecas fight you :)

I forced a defensive gang war just moments before this, the Tahoma is from the Ballas attack. Triads used Stratums.

And I don't have it as an ASI yet, that's why I didn't show gang colours on the map yet. That one is too complex to be done on the fly with Cheat Engine.

Yep, game will select these. And if there is no dedicated icon for a gang, it'll select Enemy gang instead. It's all using existing SA functionality, just unlocking it ;)

Maybe. Either that or R* devs were bored and 'proofed' the gang wars code against all gangs. Just like ALL gangs theoretically can have Empires in VCS (even Golfers) and I REALLY don't think it was a beta feature :pp

Adding more supported icons to hud.txd is boring (requires plenty of space expansion in the code). IMO not worth it.

Although, gangN and gangG icons are unused despite being loaded. I could make gangN be used by Aztecas (they use a generic flag now).

Oh, okay. GangG is used actually, in Doberman Glen Park is marked with the GangG icon, same as Beat Down on B Dup ^^. GangB are the Rifa then?

Actually, looking at the GXT entries, R* confused them. gangB should be Aztecas and gangN should be Rifa. Also Da Nang Boys use Vagos blip although it makes little sense. I will correct these and make the rest use a generic attack blip.

The DNB use Vagos blips because their color is Orange as I suppose ;) Maybe, use the red Triad blip for the Triads, the game cube from the casino missions for the Mafia, Russian Mafia (Unused 9) could use the Emmet Pistol blip, The Bikers (Unused 10) could use the gray-white flag used for racing missions.
