It has to be long as well.

Played games -

All the Uncharted series

Lord Of The Rings

Dynasty Warriors

I prefer something like Uncharted, 3rd person shooter/fighting.

Damn, yeah there is a ton. Everything Simon said above is very good. I'd say first and foremost play these

-The Last of Us

-GTA V

-Max Payne 3

Then if you'd like try out Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of The Patriots. Awesome game. Although if you haven't played any of the other Metal Gear Solid's you will be lost af lol.

But then that brings me to this. So if you haven't played MGS at all I do recommend going out and getting all of them to play.

Metal Gear Solid (PS1, can be found on PSN store)

The complete collection (MGS 2, MGS 3, Peace Walker, can be bought on PS3)

Chronologically the story goes like this:

MGS 3

Peace Walker

MGS 1

MGS 2

MGS 4

Max Payne 3 definitely. Although the story isn't the longest, it's a great game.

Original BioShock. All these other games fail to compare to the amazing story of BioShock. Your mind will be blown. Greatest game ever made. Don't even give these other games any of your time. Go out and buy BioShock right now.

Sorry i thought the story of Bioshock Infinite was superior to the first one, not that the first one wasnt great, it just did not capture me like Infinite story did and i felt the ending was kinda flat unlike Infinite where it left me thinking for days . The second one is the worst though, it did feel good to play as a Big Daddy but it was more of the same and the story was not something to talk about .

Infinite did have a great story and I guess rivals the original BioShock, but the setting and gameplay was much more fun in the original BioShock. Can't beat exploring an underwater utopia!

f*ck yes.

Half Life 2

f*ck yes.

Spec Ops: The Line by far, amazing storyline.

Short, but worth a look.

I would also recommend Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

It's first person but you go third person in cover etc, and that sh*t is really something I should go back to and play through again, it felt f*cking win.

Both Rainbow Six: Vegas games are in the similar FPS-TPS format, two of the best shooters you will ever find.

Any Hitman game also. Though Absolution pissed all over the originals it was alright in it's own right. But I would highly recommend getting the HD collection as you get all of the Hitman games you will ever need, f*ck the first and the last, 2, contracts and blood money are some of the best gaming I have ever played.

If you are into post apocalyptic wastelands I can't recommend Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas enough. And my god they can be as long as you want them to be, 500 hours easily on both if you like. Same goes for Skyrim.

I am Alive and State of Decay are also good though not as long.

If you don't mind FPS, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon and Payday 2, f*cking best games of 2013 easily. Retro City Rampage was also a hilarious bargain.

You could possibly check out Defiance, TPS MMO, pretty damn fun experience, pretty unique for consoles. Though not really story driven, but it is long as you like it to be.

Random others that are third person story driven, though not as great as the others:

Splinter Cell Conviction

LA Noire

Mafia II

Tomb Raider was exceptionally good for not expecting anything from it.

Plus another recommendation I don't even need to mention because errybody knows what it is.

Okay it's The Last of Us.

People already mentioned it, but it deserves to be brought up again: Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven's story was stellar. Easily my favorite video game story. And I second reccomendations for Assassin's Creed (especially II, Brotherhood, Revelations and IV), Fallout, Metal Gear Solid, Batman: Arkham series and Max Payne too.

Other than that, you could try Mass Effect too. People tend to hate the series now (and it's not wholly unjustified hate), but first two games were pretty good.

The Darkness, most importantly the first one. The second game is nowhere near as good.
