My Baller, 100 percent armor.  Made it this far but stalled out and wouldn't go the rest of the way.

Can the humble Futo stand up to the brutal Old Man's Crack Snapmatic challenge?

And one failed attempt:

The minivan is so gutless it can't even get up the trails. I fell off a switchback about two-thirds of the way up and this was the result.

I got teleported to the top of Chiliad and remembered this thread existed, so I thought I could give it a go.

My Vacca has 100% armor, so I kinda cheated. :/

Aftermath. Not as dramatic as I thought.

I'm organising a crew surfer plunge tomorrow. I've done this and Bells End in my surfer before and led a group down bells end - I went up scouting landing areas last night as I was pretty sure there is less flat space for dropping vans than there is on the Bell side. Decided to bob my surfer up and test if the path along the back of the cable car station was wide enough to drive along (it is). So since I was up there anyway....

Well I did it with both my Bati and Vigero. Didn't come off the Bati once.:) As far as I can tell from this thread I'm the first person to ride a superbike down the trail.

Before shot of the Bati:

After shot. The only damage was on the  front as your can see in the picture:

Here's the before shot of my Vigero:

Todays old thread necromongery is brought to you by...

The awesome Sabre Turbo.

0_0.jpg

0% armour... Didn't arrive at the Crack in absolute tip top condition...

Still looked awesome.

0_0.jpg

...ish

0_0.jpg

But it still survived.

Made light work of it, dare I say....

Well... sort of, scratch was already there...

0_0.jpg

Had enough grunt left in it to get up to Paleto Bay, jack an armoured truck and make it clear of the 5-oh too.

So there's new cars so I figured I'd give this another go.

I tried it with possibly my favorite new car in any DLC so far, the Dubsta 6x6!!

Here's the befores:

0_0.jpg

0_0.jpg

And the afters:

0_0.jpg

0_0.jpg

0_0.jpg

0_0.jpg

As you can see it's a little beaten up and has lost the usual doors and windows. Apart from that though the structure is fine and it still drives without any problems.

On an side note this thing went up Mount Chiliad easier than anything I have taken up there before. It's ridiculous and goes up any incline!!!

Panto cruised up the mountain.  No cargo bob needed, it just drove right up!  Beastly little rally car.

Poised on the edge, Panto shows no fear.

0_0.jpg

And with little regard for car or driver, Panto leapt off the edge into the setting sun!  It was a surprisingly easy drive down, this is one tough car!  Unfortunately it was getting late so the pictures at the bottom are not the best, but you can see there is pretty much no damage at all!  This is a 100% armored Panto.

edit:  I took a dinner break and let the sun rise.  Here's the car the next morning in the light (old pics right after descending are still below).

Anyone try going UP the crack in different vehicles?  If so, which do you find works the best?

I was too lazy to scroll through 11 pages, but I think I have the first orange G63 AMG to go down the mountain.

Before:

After:

Repair bill: $750

Definitely worth it.
