Well, rockstar would have better names, and it's not really supposed to simulate north america completely.

No offense, dude, but the names suck.

This exactly.

I know Wisconsin is known for it's cheese, but calling it "Northern Cheese"? wat.

How does one pronounce "Mrsippy"?

Is "Inferior" really a state? The way you drew it, it's actually part of Michigan's northern peninsula

Good job calling the majority of the southeast "Slave land", as if it were a f*cking theme park

And why, oh why, does your Florida look nothing like the real Florida?

Superior was a proposed state, so I called it inferior

So the in-universe government simply named it Inferior? How about the Southern Slave Land or Northern Cheese?

The history is that I spent a lot of time on the map, and had to make names fast.

That seems a little cheesy to me. Perhaps a little North Cheesy.

Too compressed and names are bad. Southern Slave Land? Really? but otherwise it could be pretty good

I am making it realistic.  And making random names is harder than you think.

And is calling a state something like a white supremacist theme park is "realistic"?

Reminds me of that nazi-themed theme park from "Postal"

You're all a bunch of assholes for giving him such a hard time about this. Of course it's not gonna be perfect or the same quality as something rockstar would make.

We're not giving him sh*t because of the quality or perfection, we're just pondering about the names that don't sound very realistic, given what he said earlier.

It sounds like the result of someone with an even worse speech impediment than Elmer Fudd with an even worse speech struggling to say "Iowa".

Well, GTA is a game about america...

It is a game about crime, that just happens to have been set in America 99% of the time (let's not forget GTA London!).

Still doesn't stop America not being the "World", no matter how you look at it!
