oh nice pictures.
sexy is as sexy does.
the best part is that anywhere you roll in a Lotus, the layman will assume you're a rich bastard. this may or may not be the kind of attention you wish to draw, but it's awesome to say that you bought your dream car. mad props all around. have you considered taking it to any local track days?

Get a titanium grill, boy that would be sexy.., just my opinion though.

Nice buy! I've also had an FD RX7 and I'd love an Exige, whether new or old.
I was the first person to drive the first Exige S V6 that arrived in Australia last year and f*ck me dead that thing was insane.
I have a funny story about what a colleague did with it on the M4 but don't want to go too far off topic....

How tall are you? Because I'm 6'/6'1" and could barely (comfortably) fit in the Elise when I test-drove one.

I'd be looking at close to 300hp if I can get the right add-ons. That's over a 60% increase in power from where it is right now.

What tires are you running? Stock AO48's? There was a 300 hp Elise in town that was running R1R's (less sticky than stock to let him run street tire classes in autoX) and it was an absolute handful to drive. I think he runs Hoosier A6's now (really sticky but not street friendly) and is apesh*t fast. I'm guessing it will be somewhere in between the two on the AO48's. Maybe still a bit of a handful.

Tires are Toyo Proxes, not original. I plan on replacing all four with a set of nice summer tires down the road but I have other priorities right now and the Proxes are decent enough. I just have to take it easy in the rain.

Proxes what? R1R's? I think the reason they use super sticky A048's factory is those things would probably understeer like hell with a normal tire on them. With them being so light and the fronts taking so long to heat up.
Edit- oh, T1R's. Not to be rude, but that's pretty meh on that car. Probably significantly slower than stock. That's not even an ST tire like an R1R and stock AO48's are a good rank above ST tires.

I'll probably pick up a set of new Yokohamas, I've only heard good things about them.
Installed a new rear (larger) diffuser last night, makes the rear end much more aggressive.

As a guy with Lotus history in my family, I can appreciate this :-)
