Not many, I just dropped out of law school, broke up with my fiancee, and I'm living in my parents' basement now. Could be a lot worse for sure.

It's contributed to my existential anxiety by making me ponder why I'm in a boring classroom trying to get a boring  degree so I can get a boring job instead of skydiving from helicopters, or scuba diving, or robbing banks.

I've gotten severely out of shape, lost my tan, and may have blown off some studying. Lol, it gets cold in the Northwest, so I tend to hibernate when November comes around.

Actually I have benefited since the release of GTA. If it weren't for GTA I would have never quit smoking cigarettes, I literally quit because I didn't want to stop playing to go downstairs and outside to have a smoke.

I have a friend at college, who constantly does this; he's not a big car fan, so if he sees a BMW, he calls it an Ubermacht, a Merc, Benefactor, Ford; Vapid, just things like that.
A negative effect of GTA:O on my behalf, is my college attendance, my weight and college work.

- my attendance is 70%
- I've put on 6 lbs and weigh 11st 7lbs
- I am behind on assignments.

However my weight may be down to strictly doing weight training nowadays, instead of fitness, at the gym sessions, food portions have become larger due to this. Or I could just be turning into a lazy c*nt.

Just a rising electricity bill since my Hisense tv uses a sh*tload of it. Parents are disappointed but not angry about it though. Lack of sleep too lel.

Finished a course in forklift driving & working in a warehouse so kinda unemployed atm but I'll get a job when I please.

Every time I see a GTR, I'm like "hmmm, Elegy" Aston Martin Rapide, "hmmm, Exemplar" lol.

Hmm, I am currently single after my now ex-boyfriend insisted Saints Row was better than GTA.

I don't really class that as a negative effect though, clearly anyone who prefers SR to GTA isn't long term relationship material.  :miranda:

I've definitely been sleeping a lot less, I usually play until 11-12PM, then watch a movie in bed until 1-2AM then sleep until I get up for work at 7AM.

I've probably neglected my girlfriend too but she has Netflix and other hobbies so I don't think she has minded.

Also I've done a lot more washing the dishes, that is my usual trade off with the Mrs for me playing a few hours of GTA. :p

why are you?

all there is in life is happiness, once you die no-one will give a f*ck about you except your close friends and family and even they will forget about you/die and your memory dies with them. so just make your life about you and people close to yous enjoyment.

you need a job, but try to get one that makes you happy rather than makes you bank.

you only have to wash the dishes?? i gotta wash the dishes, make tea, give her a back rub, do the shoppin, buy her shoes... then i "might" get 20 mins game time :p

needless to say i bought paper plates, plastic knives and forks and keep ording takeaway... for the back rub i just put dried peas in the bed,,,, works the same right....

I did this the other day, I saw a nice dirt bike and I said "that's a sick looking Sanchez". My gf asked what I was talking about lol. The scary thing is I did it without even realising like that was the actual real life name for it. What's next for us? Stealing cars? MURDER? This game should be banned.
