San Andreas Update aims to fix most of the problems with the PC release of

GTA San Andreas, including scripting, modelling, collision errors etc.

 

However this mod will not only fix ERRORs but add additional stuff like collisions for 

"out of reach" objects as back in 2004 computers could not handle that many

collisions but these will be added in the first few releases of this mod.

 V1.1
  Added the missing wheel to the DFT-30
  Fixed the lights and engine on the Ranger
  Added Double rear wheels to the Tanker
  Removed exhaust fumes from the DFT-30 and the Monsterb
  Fixed the exhausts on the Monstera
  Added double exhaust on the Monster and Monstera
  Fixed the Sparrow's Rear Rotor
  Fixed a bug causing the basketball to disappear after saving at Madd Dogg's Mansion
  Fixed a collision bug in Mulholland

Can you explain what other issues you're talking about? except the Dune's light glitch.

A few examples include the DFT-30's wheel and the Ranger's engine and lights fixed.

Can you explain what other issues you're talking about? except the Dune's light glitch.

I'm going to fix most of the stuff I can, which are most of the stuff I know(like in Richman there's a land bit that has a collision where the ground is lower than the actual model so you can just walk through it) but there are stuff that I don't have the ability to fix such as the widescreen issue so help would be appreciated with that.

That's one of the additions that I thought about too, keep ideas like this coming and I'll see what I can do about them, I promise you that you'll be able to climb most of the buildings in LS using the fire escapes(in the first releases) but I'll try to make all of them usable.

Yeah... probably as the dummy is just named incorrectly... But that's just a tiny part of this mod...

How about the disappearing interior of the Hunter when looking from certain angles? That's worth a fix.

 

There's also a few floating trees on the countryside.

Remembered about something.
There was this single planted tree on the sidewalk,close to the west fence of the Skate Park in LS.
It looks kind of silly how there is a single tree,maybe add more or just remove it?

There's also a few floating trees on the countryside.

The disappearing interior is probably a hard coded bug which I unfortunately can't fix.

Could you post a picture about these trees please?

Unfortunately, I don't remember where they are located. And I'm pretty sure the Hunter thing is a model bug. After all, it doesn't happen with any other vehicle in the game.

Unfortunately, I don't remember where they are located. And I'm pretty sure the Hunter thing is a model bug. After all, it doesn't happen with any other vehicle in the game.

 

I will try to fix it but the problem is that 3DS Max creates some alpha bugs too so there's not really a point...

I know a few things that would need fixing, most of which has already been done.

-No parachute animation. (FIXED)

-Lip animation. (FIXED)

-Rain reflection on the ground during storms. (FIXED)

-Missing graphical effects from PS2 like vehicle reflections, blurred rotors, etc) (SOME OF IT IS FIXED) (Not sure if it counts as a bug or just cut features)

 

As far as the mobile version goes (not sure if your doing the mobile or not)

-Android and iOS all have an issue where cars rapidly jerk like they are shifting gears. It isn't done properly when you accelerate

-Android and iOS (not positive if the iOS version has this) have an issue where a bunch of buttons pop up on the screen for a millisecond. Not that big of a deal, but if the game does this during a cut scene it skips it, even when your not touching the screen.

-Android doesn't spawn many parked vehicles properly. They face the wrong way. Instead of facing the way their supposed to they face north. This isn't with everything. I don't think its an SCM issue as I used a custom SCM from the PC, and it still happened on the Android, but not on PC.

-Android has a texture problem that stains some textures a light green color.

-Android and iOS have a problem with the max health increasing. Instead of the health increasing, the armor does.

Several trucks has double-rear wheels in PS2. This wheels are somehow cut or broken in PC version. Could you fix it?

Some Vehicles like Solair and Hustler got a bug which causes their exhaust to disappear when they are repaired/resprayed.

Some vehicles got their license plate mirrored.

If I am not mistaken,the Rumpo gets its front or rear bumper rotated 180 degrees when repaired.

Bandito's engine spinning wheel becomes perpendicular when repaired.

Seasparrow(and Sparrow too I think) heliccopter got its tail rotor misplaced.

+(somethig I think should be fixed)Vehicles like Yosemite and Patriot have a very high ground clearance yet there's no drivetrain visible underneath them.

Hmmm, one thing I would like to be fixed is the awful quality of the photos taken by the in-game camera, it saves to a horrible jpeg with lots of compression, it would be good if the pics were saved to PNG or with JPG but with less compression to achieve better image quality.  :lol:  :lol:

Thanks for all the reply guys, but could you not post links to other mods please, I aim to fix everything so there's no point of posting other mods...

What I'll do is fix all the issues with vehicles first so it'll be done all at once. I might make a database kind of thing so you can all post images.

About the double rear wheels, I did not want to include them as while working on my beta mod I thought it could be a beta thing but now that I think about it there's an useless setting in the handling.cfg file called "DOUBLE_RWHEELS" which is unused and probably is a left over from Vice City but it's probably used in the PS2 version but not in the PC so I'll fix these issues anyway.

 

Please post as many pictures as you can because it's really helpful. I only know that the Camper has mirrored license plate, and I only knew that Yosemite had double rear wheels so pictures are really useful.

I think about it there's an useless setting in the handling.cfg file called "DOUBLE_RWHEELS" which is unused and probably is a left over from Vice City but it's probably used in the PS2 version but not in the PC so I'll fix these issues anyway.

They are supposed to appear on PC too, but as always, the rendering code is somehow broken.

I don't know if this problem will fit in the topic, but can you fix plane's route when they're in countyside? Sometimes they will hit large trees or mountain (mt. chilliad)
