I played it at a friend's house, because I wasn't too sure if it would be the new san andreas. I'm glad I didn't buy it. v just feels too rushed like r* didn't take their time

GTA V was good, but it could have been better. San Andreas, while nowhere near as visually appealing, is just more fun to play and that's the most important thing.

I never stopped playing it. Of course I don't play it as much as I used to. SA is a classic and it never gets boring, at least for me.

I still play both,GTA 5 on Xbox 360 and GTA SA on PS 2,as well as GTA VCS on PS 2 and GTA VC and modded GTA SA on PC sometimes.I play both games because there is still stuff to do in SA that they didn´t put in 5,like recruiting gang members and attacking rival gangs with them, gambling and participating in contests for lowrider cars with hydraulics. In 5 I love robbing stores, riding chopper bikes or classic cars on Route 68 and other stuff.

I still have SA in my heart but I know Rockstar will add plenty of DLC to GTA V for us to enjoy in the future. The game is unfinished.

Like said, R* said they have 40 YEARS worth of ideas for GTA V/Online. It's just the start.

What makes you think Rockstar will have Down Load Content for Five?
Rockstar isn't Bethesda, and has no history for DLC that I've heard of.

Also, consider that the trend seems to be a desire for On-Line gaming (Ultima started it) where they can control piracy. It shouldn't be too long before good solo gaming will be a thing of the past. It's already near impossible to find a good game that doesn't require internet connection just to install a disc, let alone run it.

I tried to play it on my PS2 a couple of weeks ago, but it didn't read the disc for some reason. I doubt I would've played it for very though considering the time I played it I turn it off after 10 minutes.

Yes. And after almost 10 years, the game still has the same effect on me as when I first played it. GTA V is good, but no where near the level of masterpiece GTA SA is.

I just downloaded it off the psn store. They're having a rockstar sale. :) I bought SA and vice City for under a tenner. :D just starting playing again. First thing I did was jetpack cheat and flew everywhere. And it feels huge compared to 5. Each area has its own feel. I was in the desert and visibility is low due to the sand storms etc. The forest in the dark as well. 5 was seriously lacking in any of this. I'm finding the controls difficult after not playing it for years but I'm sure I'll get used to it! :) now for a proper 100% playthrough! Feels like I'm a teenager again.

Never left any of the III era games behind. Hell, not even gonna leave IV or V behind later on. I still play LCS and VCS to this day, even.

I love V but of course I still play SA. For me, modding it keeps it alive.

I haven't gone back and played any other GTA game since, GTA V was released. If I was to then GTA SA wouldn't be my first choice. I think over the years I have played it so much that I just dont have the need to play it at the moment. I think at some point in the future that I will go back to it and play throught the storyline again.

Last night actually.  Have SA on the computer and Idk what it is about the game, probably just nostalgia, but always feels good to stroll through Bone County, Flint County, down the Venturas strip, and oh yeah,,,actually be able to buy several houses throughout the state lol

After seeing that Grove Street had been taken over by Ballas (I know it's in a different universe but still) I got my old Xbox down from the attic and played San Andreas until 4 in the morning. Felt good, man.

I started  replaying Sa from the start over the weekend. On PS2. And I'm having whale of a time!

I've also replayed GTA 4 this year. And replayed GTA5 too.

All are great in their own way.

I just finished my playtrough yesterday - what a ride!
I don't want to start a war or something but this game (for me) is better in nearly every aspect than V..
Great sountrack, great map, the atmosphere!

I think R* should set their next game in the past years 70-90 and stop with this modern thing (altrough I enjoyed IV much).

The best thing is that we have 2014 and new mods (some of them are amazing and revolutionary) keep coming ;D

That game has "that thing, that magic" :)
