Is this what inspired you at 0:31 ? :D

I was thinking about cutting it out but was too lazy in the end. I couldn't steal another vehicle because the Sanchez would vanish.

I may be able to use the other method. I have completed 9mm Mayhem and it doesn't seem to add mission attempts when I replay it and waste the Freeway driver.

Edit: I'm not entirely sure how to move the bike whilst it is in the boat. It either falls out or takes too much damage and blows up. Perhaps I can try and get another one from 9mmM and try to jack the Yardie from the bike and it convert it into DP form. I am also not sure how you would collect the package from falling as you fall from the left of the bike and the package is on the right.

Funny thing: the Dp bike doesn't blow up but it is extremely hard to get it in the right position. The best thing you can do is push the boat with the bike.

I was able to maneuver the boat with the non-DP bike but there are still two problems I ran into:

1. Once the boat is in the exact position you want it in, you can't get the bike into the sea without being aggressive with accelerating which as a result pushes the boat.

2. I still can't figure out how to exit the bike whilst collecting the package as you fall since I am always teleported onto the invisible platform facing North, the package is to the East and Toni exits the bike from the West.

Have you managed to collect this package with this method?

I have actually never a collected this package before  Driving Mr. Leone.

I haver a question. If the H/BP/FP/PP/TP/EC/PC Brown and Blue Landstalker  is only avaible after you completed all levels of see the sight before your flight, why not stop before the last level?

That's exactly why I do NOT do it in a Starter Save.  I find it "faster" just to wait until SSV is legit unlocked to do all 12 Sights in a row and get the Landstalker.  At best, I suggest doing only 11/12 Sights in a Starter Save, but you won't get any percentage for doing 11 or less.  Only all 12 give the percentage.  49% is the max you can achieve, but I always do 48% since I don't do StSBYF Side Mission.  However, I will probably only be 47% when I redo my Starter Save since I am leaving out one Rampage in Portland for OM0 Special Vehicles in case I ever want to obtain some of those in other Save Files...

I will also get at least 98/100 Hidden Packages.  Maybe 99, but we'll see...

I'm redoing my starter save on psp for all those new vehicles. See the sight before your flight is easy when you have the H/DP/UH/WP PCJ-600. I'm sorry for you MetalMiltia89. It helps that the bridge between Shoreside Vale and Staunton Island is opened whilst on the mission. Stsbyf doesnt add mission attempts until the last level so its better to use that for the DP conversion than the Avenging Angels (in terms of mission attempts).

Yeah, it sucks I can't replay 9MM Mayhem AFTER passing it to get this Bike and use it for StSBYF 11 times.  Since every time I get it that early on in the game, it adds Attempts.

Anyways, I will be redoing my PS2 Starter Save for LCS and leaving a Rampage alive, too, but I won't start until I finish this new SA Save I am working on, then I need to redo my VC Starter Save (leaving a Rampage alive) and then my 1st Save File + a new 2nd Save File.  Once this new SA Save is taken care of as well as the VC Projects, then it's time to go back to LCS...

I decided to make my 2nd playthrough of LCS a bit more interesting so I decided to get at least 90 hidden packages for all the nice safehouse weapons thanks to the PCJ from 9mm Mayhem at the start of the game. It felt like a GTA 5 bike when it came to steering and it was really f*cking fragile. Thank god PPSSPP has Save States, otherwise it would have been a pain to do.

That's what UH Bikes do.  They have sharp turning, they can do abnormal Wheelies perfectly, as well as abnormally long Stoppies.  Since that Bike is also Heavy, it's why it breaks down so quick.  It can be converted to DP immediately, though, using the Yardie that drives it.  Video in my LCS Guide, of course.

You can get 99/100 in the beginning, but I always get 97, but plan to get 98 when I redo my LCS Starter Save in the coming month or so...

No need to use a PCJ-600 that is WP to get to SI or SSV, though.  You just Ghost a Vehicle through the Subway Tunnel in Portland and drive to SI/SSV and get all the things you need to get and do, then take a Boat back to Portland to save.  I don't ever bother using that PCJ-600...

After all 9mm Mayhem, Scooter Shooter and AWOL are complete, starting any of them don't add mission attempts, hence you only need to do the lift bridge trick once to complete AWOL Angel and back, then you can obtain the PCJ - 600 without worrying.

I checked and either he does not or I've done too little testing.
Doing all this would be a challenge for you to prove, how skilled you are, especially the floating package. But when it comes to the stat, I think it's better to leave this for the time when the game makes everything easier.
Since I don't care about 'Total playing time' stat, I thought about something that probably no one has done yet legitimately (let me apologize if I'm wrong). I assume maximum money in the PS2 version is 99.999.999$ as you can see someone having that much in this video. I was thinking, what could I do to earn that much in the beginning of the plot. My initial idea was to do Vigilante with despawned map so the criminals fall down and disappear, thus being counted as killed and so I can leave this and the game will generate money without me doing anything. Sadly, the game outsmarted me. (ignore the fact that I don't have health upgrades, it's an old screenshot)
rgDdOo8.png

But after doing Bike Salesman I realized I got bonus money for every 5 bikes sold in a row - 2500$ for 5, 5000$ for 10, etc.
Now that the mission is over, I can sell any bike I want - as many of them as I want. So assuming you start with 0$, the idea is to sell 1410 Faggios (the easiest to sell) in a row. How do I know the number ? I created a spreadsheet that counts earnings depending on the number of bikes sold in a row, which you can download here. Let me know if I made a mistake in a formula.
The inspiration for this came from seeing edited PSP savegames with 999.999.999$ (try earning that much with my method :D), unobtainable vehicles, unobtainable weapons, etc.
And there's something odd about this mission. (At least in my European version) it increases 'Mission attempts' stat only once and as soon as it's beaten - you can try doing it as many times as you want and you'll still have the stat increased exactly by 1 after passing.

I'll try to take care of that package sometime. I don't know how much time it might take - it depends, how difficult it proves to be to get and how many real-life obligations I'll have soon. I'll get it or I'll die of old age trying. If someone wants to help, please inspect that area for possible roofs with no collisions and stunting methods to get on the roofs.

https://imgur.com/jFupyfi Thats the highest ammount of money possible. I used om0, no cheats or hacks.

Arsen is also having the SLES Version and European. It must be the case, since the people playing with the SLUS North American Version, this DEFINITELY happens, 100% sure on that. HOWEVER, it doesn't happen if you're already 100% OR if you pass every Side Mission in the game FIRST before re-doing such Side Missions. For instance, if I pass Avenging Angels Level 15 in Portland and then use the guy to make DP Vehicles with Avenging Angels in Portland, it WILL add an Attempt. It's not until I pass ALL THREE ISLANDS Avenging Angels Level 15 for that to STOP happening. What I usually do is just wait until I am on The Shoreside Redemption with 98% Game Completion, only needing to pass the Mission and The Sicilian Gambit for 100%. At this time, ANY Side Mission can be repeated without adding Attempts...

I get impatient and use Avenging Angels too early to make some DP Vehicles of Vehicles in which hookers won't get inside, like the Thunder-Rodd, Leone Sentinel, etc, etc. They don't get inside Maverick, Gang Vehicles, Trucks, some Vans, Unique Vehicles (Literally, Unique, like the Mr. Whoopee, etc, I don't mean Special Vehicles with immunities and colors, Unique Vehicles). But since I did 7 Saves on PS2, the Mission Attempts varied depending on which Special Vehicles I obtained in all 7 playthroughs. The lowest you can get in LCS is 113, and I have 114 on my 7th Save. There is Saves with up to 128 Mission Attempts, though, depending on which Special Vehicles I got and how many Vehicles I made PP with The Shoreside Redemption. Not everything can be obtained with passing the Mission and only on the LAST Vehicle converted to PP, can you pass the Mission. If you want multiple PP Vehicles, gotta fail The Shoreside Redemption for that...

Thunder Rodd won't spawn until SI is legit unlocked. AWESOME about the BF Injection, though. Nobody knew this prior to posting this here. Sadly, Crazy Car Give Away doesn't give any percentage until ALL Vehicles are brought, just like See the Sight Before Your Flight. Not until ALL 12 are complete does it give you the percentage.

Incredible on those Hidden Packages, too! Good work. I am the same way. No way would I get any of those if they involve killing Toni as I always stick to Minimum Stats when necessary and only fail a Mission when it's absolutely necessary for a Special Vehicle, too...

Let me ask to be sure I understand everything correctly: in the US version once you have passed, let's say, 9MM Mayhem (thus having an obligatory one more mission attempt), what has to be done to repeat the mission without increasing the stat ?
I noticed that certain side missions do not increase the attempts stat. At least in my version - no idea, how they behave in the US one. These are, for instance, Taxi, STSBYF. So theoretically it might be possible to use a tourist as an Angel substitute.
Complete all three "9mm Mayhem", "Scooter Shooter" and "AWOL Angel", as I have said.

Well, I don't think I'll get through to you since you have a thick head.  But let me let you in on a little secret:  I did.  Still adds Attempts.  I just got done saying this here and I rather copy/paste it than waste time explaining something to you since it's equivalent to pulling teeth:

About Mission Attempts for passed Side Missions, that's only if you want to obtain things BEFORE you are 90%, with all Side Missions complete and SSV unlocked, before doing the first SSV Story Mission, Rough Justice.  90% is what you have if you passed Love on the Rocks and did ALL Side Missions required for 100%.  At this time, you can get the Side Mission Special Vehicles and none of them will cost an Attempt.  Besides, there isn't a reason in my case to even get them earlier than this since I prefer having ALL Storage Space available which doesn't happen until after Love on the Rocks, anyways...

This is how my game works.  I don't NEED to have Side Mission Vehicles earlier than 90%, so there is no point in caring about this stuff.  I already finished the Starter Save with the Minimum Attempts and also 100% Saves with the Minimum Attempts.  What more could I want or care to do?

Well then. It's probably version problems - I play on the mobile version, and you on PS2.
Btw if you want to call me a noob for playing mobile and obtain vehicles easily, go ahead, idc. I have no choice anyway - I don't have a PS2 disc, and finding one in Asia is a hell. Not on PSP or any emulator either, I don't have a PSP, and emulator lags as hell.

Huh? I thought it was known for quite a while that it's possible to use Ghost vehicles to drive to the other islands via the subway. I did exactly the same thing when completing the Starter Save. Since Britney won't enter the BF Injection and "Avenging Angels" was not yet available, I used the "slacker" (from the mission of the same name) as passenger. Keep in mind that you must NOT let him enter the Ghost BF Injection, because, even if you kill him inside the garage, it won't recognize it as "delivered". This cost me an extra Mission Attempt, so, if you want to keep the stats to a minimum, it's best to use the tyre-clipping method.

I wonder if the clipping method can be used to bring vehicles over to Portland, as well, like the V8 Ghost or something. Is this even possible?

At least I was the first to record a video about it XD, and "See The Sight Before Your Flight" doesn't cost a mission attempt :)
It's possible to use the clipping method to bring vehicles available from SI if we can find where we could get onto the subway tunnel. However, what's the usage? There was no need to bring them there.
...Wait, maybe we can get the H BP FP PP TP PC UC Landstalker early !?
That means another additional % for a starter save without worrying about missing out vehicles :D

Yeah, it's the only reason I don't care to do StSBYF in a Starter Save since you'd be skipping the H/BP/DP/FP/PP/TP/EC/PC Landstalker as the Reward.  IF there is a possible way to get it back to Portland, I'd probably do the task for the Starter Save since it takes a good 40 Minutes to speedrun Sight 1 through 12 and I need to do this every time for each 100% Save, so it becomes redundant and boring, thus wishing it could be done early while keeping the Landstalker.

And yeah, StSBYF is like Taxi Side Mission in III, VC, and LCS.  Not until the FULL Mission is passed does it add +1 to Attempts.  It doesn't add +12 for 12 Sights in total.  It only adds +1 to the Attempts AFTER all 12 are done.....Even if you fail the Sight before finishing all 12, it doesn't cost any Attempt...

Well, if you're into Special Vehicles, depends on what you want to get. Mainly for the BP conversion, which is severely limited for this reason: Some vehicles do not spawn around Portland at all, so you have to bring them yourself, unconventionally. For example, you may f*cking love the V8 Ghost, so you absolutely need it to go through every single (known) conversion, in order to have it in its "ultimate" form, which is BP/DP/PP. Another candidates would be the Race vehicles, to make a BP/DP/PP/TP/EC Cheetah and/or Deimos SP. Of course, there is an AP/TP conversion much later on, in "Bringing the House Down", but it's currently too unreliable; some versions of the game (including mine) crash like crazy, and, even if we get a better understanding of it, it still glitches the percentage.

Be careful, though, because there is quite a lot of stuff available early on, and your storage is very limited. It's bad enough as is already, having to keep certain vehicles in memory until we unlock Staunton Island.

I thought of an alternative way to bring vehicles to Portland early on, but it's way too f*cking tedious. The basic idea is very similar to the AP/EC Black Maverick; leave a boat in memory near the harbour, drive your desired vehicle there, build up a lot of speed, bail out at the last second, and use the boat to push it to Harwood. The distance will be much shorter, and no Ferry Boats to mess you up, but still very annoying.

But keeping the Landstalker means one garage space less in the beginning -->
I would consider passing until sight 11.
The thing chun found is that you can deliver the BF Injection early without the Sniper method and Slacker. I dont see a problem with stsbyf on ps2 since its the same version as mobile lcs uses.

https://youtu.be/Hw7mW4sW1AI
Discovery by Chun Yu Chan.

F*ck, I forgot to cut out my failed attempt. Also sorry for not recording how I converted it but you guys already knew, right?
Anyway, I'll give some tips :
1. Put a BF Injection into a garage first. Otherwise, you'll have to get one at the beach, but the time would be much more tedious (Farer, uses more time).
2. Before you convert it, try to arrive to the garage in 2 min 30 secs, so you get enough time for the conversion.
3. If you're at the platform but the BF Injection is so big like my failed attempt, you're probably going to fall down when you fetch the tracks, so try your best to prevent getting it any bigger after it's converted.
4. If you don't want to fall down, as you touch something, stop, drive away a bit, stretch the angle and try again.
5. When you hit a train, your BF Injection will explode immediately. Therefore try to start when the in game time is around __ : 40 - since trains arrive at 00 : 30, there will be very few trains sooner.

Yes, you can, but, upon completion, the sights will be randomized. But since "9mm Mayhem" apparently works, there is no reason to bother with it.

Put a BF Injection into a garage first. Otherwise, you'll have to get one at the beach, but the time would be much more tedious (Farer, uses more time and the goddamn sand could take you some tries to get out).

I usually get the BF Injection out of the beach by driving in reverse up the hill that's right in front of it. Driving backwards in the 3D era games grants you more traction for some reason.

I drive it forward.  The BF Injection is literally parked so when you get inside of it, you can just accelerate forward and go up the grassy hill right in front of you and then down the rocky bank of the hill.  I've not once got stuck and always driven forward.  Perhaps if it's raining it wouldn't work, but when it's not raining I get 100% traction driving forward up the grassy hill, and then down the rocky bank on the other side.

Yeah. However, climbing up a hill that is farer to the crusher still uses up more time tho.

If you know how to drive properly without touching the Subway Train, you can easily drive a Car to SSV.  Fall into Blue Hell, game respawns you back on land, on SSV Island...

I've not once needed that H/UH/WP PCJ-600 from 9MM Mayhem to do a Starter Save in full.  I just ghost a small Vehicle down the Subway and through the Gate, my awesome driving in reverse down the steps in the Subway Station, and onto the tracks and to SSV.  If you're going to SI, there is no gate when you get there, but there is for SSV.  But like I said, Ghost Vehicle, fall through Blue Hell when you get to SSV and you will be respawned back on land, near the Airport and can get out of the Ghost Vehicle and do what you need in SSV.  The H/UH/WP PCJ-600..........Was NEVER needed.  Not once.  Hence there is zero reasons to have it early when it's literally not needed.  I've done the Starter Save under 8 Hours with the Methods of how I do all these tasks and I also only saved the game 8 times with 0 Pay and Spray Visits.  My Starter Save is awesome on PS2...

Turn to 6:00.  You see him ghosting an Esperanto and failing miserably.  Me?  I can drive reverse down those stairs, granted I am doing it with a SMALLER and not as long Vehicle, like a Taxi, Kuruma, Sentinel, etc, etc and then I just drive the Ghost Vehicle along the Subway Tracks to SSV and then drive through the Subway Tunnel's wall and into Blue Hell.  It's really easy if you practice.  I've done it so many times that I rarely fail when going down there like you see in the Video.  He's trying to rush, thus making mistakes...

Not hating on you, but stop bragging about your skills...You're shoving your opinions and the "I'm great" thing onto everybody's face. It gets annoying...
Ontopic, yes, it might not be needed, but it does save a lot of time especially when you fall out at SI. Total playing time, anyone? Since it doesn't add attempts to me after all 3 drive - by missions are passed, I mostly use the PCJ - 600. I prefer it because it's a fun vehicle to drive, too! :p

If you can't do it, no hard feelings.  But it's not that hard.  You only get good with practice, of course.

Besides, no need to mention Special Vehicles in this Topic since it's not for that, and we already have another Topic for that.

Meanwhile you've disrupted many topics by making off-topic special vehicle posts.

Anyways, why is the 100th package not available yet?
