No. Tommy #1. No debate.
However, we can debate MTF vs Niko vs CJ. (No Claude).
I like Michael and Trevor alike. They're pretty well thought out characters who DESERVED more screen time. Trevor is the perfect maniac and is suiting for a GTA C games. His sharp pointed satirical commentary makes him an even more interesting character. Plus, he's hilarious. I don't know what Official General's problem is with him, but Trevor is a pretty great GTA character. Now, Michael. I wanted to see a little more between him and Madrazo. I, on the contrary, liked his dealings with Steve Haines, but could've cared less for Weston (although the mission "I fought the law" is my favorite GTA V mission). Michael was a complex character with complex emotions who, mind you, had a pretty tough childhood and did pretty well for himself. Michael just wants to lead a normal life and that's respectable. Michael is intelligent, witty, and has some damn good dialogue. I love Franklin, but to me (and to my discontent), he seemed to be everybody's bitch-boy. Franlkin go do this, Franklin go do that, Franklin you gotta live the gangster life, etc. I wish Franklin would;ve taken matter into his own hands and pull of his OWN scores. Now, Niko. I can actually sympathize with Niko's problems with being an immigrant in America. Niko is a character I will alwys remember. R* truly makes great characters, but in the HD era, only Franklin seemed the weakest. So, in the HD era it goes:
