Hey, I'm new too GTAO. What's the best starting apartment? I have $100,000. Also, can you really see out of the windows? I was in a friends apartment, but the window was like whited out. No view?

I like the tinsel towers one ten car plus apt. All you got to do is sell ten more cars!

Aren't apartments used for hanging with friends, watching TV, looking at the view, and will be used for planning heists?

Any apartment with a ten-car garage will do. When the Heist mode (or whatever it will be called) is finally released players will need enough space for a planning board to plan heist.

Yes, but you have to do it using the in-game internet website dynasty8realestate. If you purchase the property by using the sign in front of the property/building it will not unlock the acheevo / trophy.

that's not the planning board, it's located inside the room adjacent to your apartment/garage door

For real? I've been in there a few times and I never noticed it. I'll have to check it out when I get back online. If you're right, thanks. If not, you're bad lol.

You should save your money until you can afford the $205,000 apartment at Del Perro Heights. Until then, use the free 2-car garage on Poplar St.

My first place and still my current one is on the same street near Ammunation on the topside of the city, it's a little sentimental and i don't want to leave...

Either way, save up a bit more and you'll have better locations.

Cheap two-car garage near the LSC under the freeway, save 200k for 10-car @ Del Perro. Considering griefers, you have an excellent view of your garage and alleyway from your windows. No view of front besides TV but it's rare that you take that exit, right?

you don't need an apartment. make 50k more and buy the 10-car garage at 0120 murrieta heights in east los santos. it is within one block of an ammunation and an LS customs, a 30 second drive to the hospital helipad and has a wide open driveway with quick access to several freeway onramps. if you're a serious player, that is all you need.

i sold my 390k apt in eclipse to get away from all of the asshats fighting outside of it. best move i ever made.

Tinsel Towers tends to be a battlefield, due to Eclipse and LSC surrounding it.

Del Perro, and Richards Majestic are good apartments if you have the money, which can be 200-260k. They tend to be away from the most chaotic parts of Los Santos.

Personally, I chose Richards Majestic, Apt 51 for the ocean view. (:

I started with the 80k one.... but I got it for free because I bought it during a cloud downage and after I bought it I quit and went to lunch... when I came back my character was reset to the last time I played (money and XP... lost a level) so it never registered me buying it.... just owning it.... was odd but hey I was broke so I didnt argue...

When I upgraded I am in an apartment that I think is the best... I wont say which one but its right down town, has tunnels near, close to all 3 LSC and 2 blocks from the helipad... Dont think Ill ever leave this one.... the sh*t I see from my window lol... every time I play I stand by the window and take a few dabs... get snacks ect... get ready to play you know... during this time I usually see some action from my window... pretty good.

MY advice is go ahead and just get an 80k one while you are starting.... its NICE to have a home base.... IF you are like me and like to role play a bit its nice to have a place to change clothing, wash blood off ect.... gather a crew at.... I dunno.. plus it was fun starting in a dump then moving to a high rise...

Also, realistically speaking, you'd have a bed and a shower.
