There's a little argument in another post that's not related to the original topic so I want to see what the majority thinks. Would you rather have bowling replace yoga in V? Or would you want Yoga to stay in V if it means that you won't have to have bowling. You don't have to like either just pick which one you prefer. Please don't make you're reason to be "IV is better than V so I'll say Bowling" or "V is better than IV so I'll say Yoga." This is strictly based on the activity and whatever consequence it carries. Also, put your reasons why you chose what you chose if you don't mind.

Bowling because of the dialogue that would result from it when playing.

Both were wastes of development time that could have been better spent on togas and bowler hats, which, when it comes down to it, are both things that have been central to GTA from the very beginning.

This sounds like the title of an Indian porno flick. Just saying.

@Osho and Staten

If you ABSOLUTELY HAD to choose between the two, which would you pick. That is the question. There's no "both are useless option" because it's a would you rather question.

Bowling was actually pretty fun. My best game was a 234, it was fun trying to top that although I never could. And it could be played by yourself or against an npc. I know bowling isn't the most exciting thing brought to GTA, but it at least provided me with somewhat of a fun factor that I have yet to experience with yoga.

So for me, bowling wins my vote hands down.

But, why are you forcing us to choose ONLY between them?
Are you running out of imagination since there is basketball, baseball, etc that sounds fresh or at least add something new than playing same things.
Just like Rockstar managed to introduce Yoga an unexpected and least favourite but still they showed some imagination into bringing new to the table.
Hope you get it.

I do get it, but that isn't the question. The question is "would you have preferred bowling or yoga in V?" not "what sport or activity would you have liked to see in V"

My oh my, quite the riveting pastimes, what's next a knitting mini game? If someone held a gun to my head and forced me to pick one of the two, I'd just pull the trigger for them.

Liked bowling in GTA IV, I didn't do yoga in GTA V outside of that one mission, so bowling. :)

In that case, I have made it clear.
With all due respect to your question, it's better I quit the thread and leave it that way!

It would be nice to have both.

Bowling was a nice activity to do when hanging out with friends.

Yoga was a nice simple minigame that improved the Special stat for Michael.

Everybody is just butthurt about Yoga because they really think that it's the reason we don't have Gang Wars or something.

Didn't really like bowling in GTA IV as it also felt out-of-place but at least it's more fleshed out than Yoga, so bowling for me, even if they copy-pasted it from IV (didn't they for darts anyway?).

This is like a question, "Which do you prefer, a kick in the balls or a baseball bat to the throat?"  :bored:

I voted yoga, because if they ever add yoga to online, I want to I want to exercise my girl avatar's fine-looking bod.  And if Rockstar wants to encourage us to do yoga, they can have it gradually improve the avatar's appearance, which I think about 90% of the players want.  :colgate:

Yoga was fine.  I never really got into it during the story outside of that one level.  But let me tell you.  I have some fond memories, CHILDHOOD memories here, of birthday pizza parties with friends at bowling alleys that have been forever ruined by Roman Bellic constantly calling me to go bowling while I'm busy and then thumbs-downing me like one of those goddamn phone people who have their face buried in a goddamn phone while you're trying to watch a movie with them but magically never pick the phone the f*ck up when I'm bored and alone and want some ass or some grass.

I don't do yoga in V, but I occasionally went to the bowling alleys in IV, try and get turkies, play against friends ect, but I feel that Yoga is just a waste of time. The only thing that was bad with bowling in IV was the over use of it in the friends phone calls (namely Roman)

I miss bowling. I know it was in GTA 4, but I liked it more then I do darts. I wish they could have had bowling back instead of darts. Yoga is ok for a laugh at Mikey trying to do it. I don't mind the Yoga.

Bowling easily.

Still have no problem playing it when I fire up a new game. Yoga I dreaded as the second time 'Did somebody say yoga?' approached.

It's not a huge deal to me as I just ignore it completely outside of that one mission. But it just looks like trolling on R*'s part.

The only thing missing from bowling was the ability to play against multiple opponents. Imagine Niko, Roman and Brucie all bowling together?

LOL. Bowling from GTAIV gets the last laugh! Seriously, YOGA? I stayed optimistic when they announced it, but it turns out they only succeeded in making Bowling more popular than it was.

Bowling is actually a great game, and wouldn't have been as bad as people thought it was if they did a better job developing it for GTAIV. Yoga on the other hand, is awful no matter HOW they interpreted it. I almost think the Yoga thing is really a big joke on us by Rockstar.
