- Vocals: Sebastian Bach back in the day.
- Drummers: Steven Adler, I think his style is simple yet powerful and I like him as a person; Rob Affuso back when he was with Skid Row. And then maybe I'd choose Mitch Michell, he’s plain awesome, during (at least) the Hendrix period he made some astonishing tracks.
- Bassist? No idea, man. I don’t put too much attention to the bass most of the time. Sorry bass players, maybe next time;)

A lotta people where who haven't dared escape the confines of pop-music...
My favourite guitarist would have to be Lee Ritenour, for his versatility.
On keys, I'm a big Rus Ferrante fan

I f*cking love steely dan:
Note: The only permanent members are Donald Fagen (the man behind it all) and Walter Becker (the intrusive guitar player who is in no way integral, check out Fagen's solo albums). Some recurring members include Larry Carlton and Michael McDonald(who did the AMAZING backup vocals on Peg(Aja)).
Would like to add Feredico Malaman to the mix. Listen to this absolutely perfect bass sound:
