Walk from one end of the map to the other? If so, how long did it take?

Vertically? On foot? Are you freaking kidding me?

It already takes freaking forever to cross through the mountains in a plane horizontally.

About 10 mins to parachute from the northernmost island to the beach south of the LSX hangars.

Did you guys even read what the OP stated.
Anyway, who on earth would want to walk from one end to the other on foot? That's ridiculous!

Is this how you act in life? If you ask someone a question about doing something and they say "no haven't done that but I once did this" do you immediately shout at them "THAT'S NOT WHAT I ASKED YOU" if so your conversations with people must be extremely short.

What I'm trying to say is, you may need to go see I doctor I think you have Asperger Syndrome

P.S Or you're just an angry little boy.

I did start the trek once but was too easily sidetracked. All that walking made me need to kill someone. And then I'd have to start running. :D

Started at the southermost docks. 1 hour in and I'm walking down the notheside of Vinewood hills. I can see the desert and sea ahead below Mt Chillad. Hope I make it there at daybreak to avoid the cougars.

I meant to do this when i posted this thread:

http://gtaforums.com...e/?fromsearch=1

Never completed the task. Still haven't because in it I meant to avoid roads and civilization. But I did just now walk south to north. Nice little walk. Took about 140 minutes.

Got out the rubber bands and started at the southermost docks. Used R3 to steer. Never used the run button, only the climb/jump.

30 minutes to get as far north as the impound yard.
1 hour in and I'm walking down the notheside of Vinewood hills.

90 minutes @ the northwest tip of the Alamo Sea, heading up Mt Chilliad when I have to killl my first cougar and get to a random event with a chick who needs a ride. I take the tunnel for safety and to save time as walking along the railway where I bag my next big cat.

2 hours @ Paleto Beach. Can see my goal.

2 hours 20 minutes later and I reach the north island. 7.9 miles

why would you actually do all this? i mean the 3 or so hour walk. find info about gtav walk speed or measure it yourself and then do the math. you can take the distance from one point of map to another from the gps.

I don't know about walking but back in San Andreas I'd sometimes start from one corner and jog to the other corner, or do a circle and cross through each area. Was pretty fun actually. Haven't tried it yet in GTA5 but I've walked/jogged pretty damn far though.

Will probably use the rubber bands to explore this way more often. Interesting walking through populated areas. Truly does seem like a living breathing city.
