I don't know what the hell is wrong but I'm not feeling happy at all after the celebrations

I'm a bit drunk, pissed off and sad

Looks like the new year is starting like a sh*t to me

Anyone sharing the same sadness?

I might post the motives tomorrow morning if someone is interested to hear them

I feel like sh*t

Edit 2- ok the motive might be an ex girlfriend
Stupid motive

She's at the beach with her new boyfriend, who was my friend

f*cked up situation eh

You are probably just drunk. Tell us more about your feelings while you are at it. How did this guy steal your girlfriend?

Eh, I think during New Years, some people just look back on the past year, and focus on the overly negative aspects, as they can often seem to outweigh the positive. This is especially true when you're drunk.

Same here. I don't know why is that. It feels like I missed out on something or I just can't accept the change.

He didn't steal her, after she broke with me she started dating him 1 year later

The motive imo is because he's very rich

He doesn't have to work because his mother is rich

I have to work

He passes by with her while I'm working

Sad scene

There are worse situations to be in, be glad yours is only over an ex.

Anyway it's a fresh new year full of fresh new vaginas that are open to all comers. All comers. So have at it.

Sometimes I look at my life and say "What the f*ck have I done with my life?"

Life is too short to worry about the past, worry about the future. The future is sure to be a golden one.

Don't worry, bro. You are not alone....we all have dat feel.

I have it right now.

It shall pass, like everything in life, but it sucks as you go through it. I feel it could be because there is something missing in our lives and a new year just means having to reconcile another year having gone without it and quite possibly another year to go without it.

All I know is, I didn't always feel this empty.

Sorry for 2deep4me. New Year's brings it out in some of us.

The motive imo is because he's very rich

He doesn't have to work because his mother is rich

I have to work

Sad scene

Lol dude, after one year? It's okay. My ex, ex, ex-girlfriend dumped me after one week of relationship and the very next day she gets in a relationship with my friend. I was usually seeing her at his house, you know, when I was passing by.

Don't be angry with your ex. Be happy that she's having way more fun screwing your friend.

Edit: she didn't just dump you and start dating him. They had been fooling around for a while. Sorry.

Well he's not a friend of mine anymore, it took some time to realize what a f*cking c*nt he is, but at that time we were still chilling together even if my ex-gf was with him. At a point I stole his ex-gf too lol.

I do find new year's eve and day consistently depressing but rather than bullsh*tting myself and others, I don't go out and party. Instead, I opt to shun my friends and stay at home, alone and act like it's any other day.

I have a similar dislike for my own birthdays. I suspect it's because I feel like that's another year of my life gone - paired with a sense of dissatisfaction. And unlike half the members of this board it seems, I'm not looking forward to death.

I might have been a bit sad for like ten seconds last night, but I can't remember why. I'm probably worse off than most of you here (I don't have a job, I am a loser by a lot of people's standards), but I am glad that I found a way to deal with my problems instead of taking refuge in self-loathing, disappointment, depression. It's the easiest way out to be sad, because when you are sad you don't have to do anything. Instead, I try to think about what I can do right now and stop worrying (because worrying is pointless, just another excuse to sit around and do nothing).

It was a dumb year anyway, all of my important life events were crappy and negative. I really hope 2014 will be better

I think it was just a sad moment. I'm drinking some beer at my uncle's house and I'm very happy now. Life is complicated sometimes but I guess it changes every moment.

Let's drink then!!!!!!

I enjoy a fresh start to the year, but at the same time January is a depressing month, I feel.

I think it's because you are looking back at what you've done, and realise the older you get, the weeks months and years just fly in too f*cking quickly, and we'll be thinking about Christmas again before we know it.

I used to be desperate to get to 18, now I'm 26 later this year and I wish it would move a bit slower. I can't believe it sometimes how surreal life can be if you just sit back and realise this, realise how insignificant we are so you really do need to just be who you are and do what you want because it is way too short.

Jeez, I must have some alcohol in my veins still.

Yes, I'm sad too. I've spent my New Year at home, because I am sick to leave my house, and my sons haven't had any fun either, because they were preocuppied with me :dontgetit:
