That f*cking host chick wearing the fur coat on NBC's New Years thing, this year. Usually it's being the only one up at 12 and feeling unfulfilled and lonely.

This is the time of year that everyone pretends to be friendly.

I'm surprised no one said this: drunk drivers. I guarantee I'll see several idiots who can't maintain their lane on the way home. It's f*cking dangerous and very avoidable. Use a designated driver and be careful out on the roads.

Happy New Years!

Seeing everyone posting on Facebook about having a good time being out drinking or out with friends or whatever, wishing each other a happy New Year and leaving me out completely as I sit alone in my room with no friends and realizing I'm forever alone, which makes me feel even more like sh*t than before.

People making a fuss of it.  It happens every year so it's not as if it's a rare occurence and all it means is you buy a new calander.  There's no need to get excited, it's just another day.

Is it me or do more people today just have a really bland and unexciting mentality?

It's about getting excited about something worth getting excited about.  New Year ain't worth getting excited about.

It's one of those holidays when it's socially acceptable to be a complete amateur.

I've never been one to go out on New Years. I almost always chilled with the family and barely drink at all. I drink so much the rest of the year, who gives a sh*t about one day. Last night I went to bed at about 10pm and I woke up feeling great. I hate that everyone believes they are going to make these big changes this year and they also believe everyone else gives a sh*t about their failed attempts at personal betterment.

Next day you wake up feeling the party was all for nothing. It's back to normal. Although I didn't party obviously.

The most irritating thing though is that people celebrating like mad f*cks don't realise you don't know if you're going to live to see the year or not. You're getting closer to death in a certain way even though everyone has to die at some point. I was just thinking this yesterday while watching the celebrations on BBC.

Some of us don't stop for Christmas and New Year and work on those days.

Point is, complaining about going back to work after a holiday for Christmas and New year is meaningless.  Stop crying over spilt milk and be thankful for getting a holiday.
