GTA 5 looks amazing on the xbox and ps3, but what if gta 5 was released with the graphics of gta sa, a map that is 5x as big as gta 5, a lot more features included.  Would you buy it?

Would I buy it? Most likely.

Would I enjoy it? Probably not, especially considering San Andreas' graphics

The graphics are actually worse than that, the new iOS version has better textures.

I think amazing things could be pulled off if they went back on the graphics, interiors, armies of people, maybe even destructible buildings.

your idea seems to define quantity > quality.

Why does the map have the look of vice city's map?

Wasn't San Andreas' radar always like that?

No way I would buy game like that. I expected quality when I was buying next gen console and prehistoric-looking game, no matter what big, won't be enough for me.

If you think graphics make the game, I take pity on you.

So you'll still want to play GTA 5 if it looked like this?

Yes, I'd buy it.  After seven years, I can still have fun with GTA SA each time I load it up, and it doesn't even have a (decent) multiplayer (without mods anyways).  I find that GTA SA's single-player has MUCH more replay value than GTA V's single-player, but I still find GTA V to be one hell of a game and one of Rockstar Game's unbeatable titles.

GTA sa brought the multiplayer feel to a single player game.  And that's what I like about it.
