Since this isn't going anywhere, a more interesting question is going to happen.

When you get into bed, what is your routine for actually falling asleep? Do you watch tv and leave it on? Read a book? Jack off?

Personally, I usually get into bed turn my TV on look through on what to watch - usually family guy/Big bang theory/ god knows what else. Maybe check my Nexus for Steam/FB and then set my alarm on my clock and go to bed. Watch TV for about an hour and then usually put my timer on tv to turn off in 30 minutes.

It'll be going somewhere tonight when people post in the proper format. I cannot wait to post here shortly prior to going to bed.

Working around 6 to 8 hours.

But who woke me up in the first place? Did I ask to be awaken? What if I actually wanted to keep sleeping?

My bed time routine consists of rolling around in bed for about an hour before I start dozing off. That's my only routine. If that doesn't work, I just dry-hump my pillow for hours until I fall over from exhaustion.

It is 23:02 local time and I am now going to bed. The reason for this is that I am tired.

1:45AM Eastern US. I came to bed around 11, but it's been a busy week and I've got a lot to think about tonight.

Usually I do like to think to myself after jacking off (which helps me sleep), but I'm trying to abstain for convenience while visiting family.

It's 1:30am and I have nothing to do tomorrow but clean my room and study for my drivers test so I don't care when I fall asleep. However, on days when I have work in the morning I try to force myself to sleep as best I can, usually can't fall asleep until 2am-4am. I'll listen to these videos on youtube called ASMR to help me sleep. And videos of people whispering, which sounds really creepy but it helps a lot! I stopped taking melatonin because it didn't work + heard it's not that great to use often.

I've recently got into the habit of going to bed early, at about 9-10pm, waking up ar around 5-6am - often without relying on my alarm.

This gives me at least a good two hours or so to prepare for hospital placement by brushing up on the more difficult things like physiology (and pathophysiology) and anatomy. I find it much easier to study these in the morning after waking up than after I get back - when I usually just relax, go to gym, make notes of what I need to study the next morning, and maybe do some light study if I have to.

I just find this whole routine way easier and more productive than my old routine of waking up just on time, leaving relaxation and study competing for time after a full-day placement (relaxation wins in the vast majority of time).

No matter how hard I try, I can't go to bed.
Maybe I should buy one?

It's 3 hours prior to that and I, too, am going to bed, having failed to do any of my take home work. I've got an animation session at 10 tomorrow and I have to do a lot of work for that, so.... wish me luck?

will likely be a six hour forty winks for old Otter.

It is 4:11 AM, and I am going to bed, not because I am tired, but because my sleeping schedule is f*cked to the point where I'm going to bed at 6-7 AM and waking up at 4-5 PM. It's the life for me, but I can't do it approaching the devestating end to my Winter Break.

Well in the holidays like now, I sleep at 4 AM and wake up around 12-1 PM. But college days, it's 11:30 PM and wake up at 7:30 PM most of the days, but Friday and Thursday it's wake up at 9 AM. Crappy timetable.

Usually I go to bed at 10pm-12am and wake up at 5am, but it's the holidays and I now I sleep at 3am and wake up at 8am-1pm, and I don't feel sleepy until 3am, Is there any way I can go back to my original sleep routine?

Force yourself to go on 2 hours one night to wake up at the correct time and after a day or two you'll be back to schedule.

I forgot to post last night, but at approximately 00:15 I went to bed for the simple reason that I was feeling a bit tired.
