I stay up to 3-4 AM and wake up at 12am.

If I go to bed earlier I still wake up at 12am.

Feel free to PM me if you want to hear about it, but i'd rather keep this thread dedicated to going to bed.

Maybe if that is going to be a common question we'll need a "Good morning" thread to post in when you wake up.

We are all in the matrix so we are all basically sleeping.

Was I just invited to your PM?  :panic:

Panz wouldn't like it if I did that. I better not. But you're right.. best to keep this on topic. Apologies.

This is just a reminder to all posters that the proper format for posting in the going to bed thread is as follows:

It is now <local time> and I am going to bed. <Optional Short Rationale>

Hm, very curios indeed....

To be going on topic, I sleep at 9PM. I am not going to bed yet.

During a working week, I'll go to bed anywhere from 9pm-11pm depending if there's anything good on TV or how tired I am. I'll get up at 6am. Weekends, if I have no plans then I'll probably hit my bed at around 11pm-2am and wake up around 8-10am.

I am very interested in what time people go to bed and how many hours of sleep they get on an average night,

no you're not.

I am, but people are only talking about when they usually go to bed, not when they are actually going to bed. Hopefully it'll get back on track for the upcoming evening. Last night was pretty much a bust.

Why so curious?

I mean curiosity isn't a sin but you seem really curious, more curious than usual.

Just asking.

well there's been a lot of threads on this topic.

could've just searched for one.

I usually get about 7 hours a night.

best case scenario is getting to sleep around 10pm for an alarm @ 5:45am. I'll need to be at work most days between 6:45 and 7:15.

I used to sleep at around 10 and wake up at 5:30, but lately I've been falling asleep around 12 and waking up at 9

Nobody seems to be following her format lol.

To stay on-topic: Somedays I usually sleep at noon because I'm tired after getting up early in the morning.

Here I am requesting that you post when you actually /are/ going to bed, rather than when you usually go to bed, but no one seems interested in following the proper format.

You shouldn't be posting in this thread unless you are at your computer about to go to sleep within the next 15-20 minutes.

you can't just dictate a format to people.

they'll post how they want more or less.

I find I can function pretty well on at least 6 hours of sleep but definitely don't need 8 or more.

much longer than 7.5 and I just can't stay asleep.

Why are you forcing us to do what you say? It seems as though you are stalking us.

OT: And sometimes, during exams I get up at 6 AM for a bit of quick revision.

It was just a reminder about what was in the OP. Please don't do this again. From now on I am only responding to "going to bed" related comments in this thread.

Nobody seems to be following her format lol.

How do you think anyone will follow it? One literally has to go to sleep with stating the local time and extra notes. This topic is just plain stupid with that format. No one will follow up like that.

On week days I stay up until 12:00am and then wake up at 6:00am. On weekends I stay up until 2:00am and then wake up at 7:25am.

Your format can burn in hell. :)

On weekends and holidays, I sleep considerably late 1-2 AM and wake up at 11-12 :p

On weekdays, depends. 11 pm if I had a nap earlier and 12 if not. Still feel like sh*t waking up at 7. Last day of weekends prove hellish to me as the next I wake up, I move like a zombie.

The real question is how long does it take you to fall asleep once you're in bed. It takes me at least an hour. :(

If it is a school day or some other occasion where I have to get up between 06 - 08, I go to bed at around 22:00, BUT it usually takes at least an hour for me to actually sleep. Sometimes it takes more. On weekends I go to bed between 01 - 02 AM, and wake up around 09 - 10. They say seven to eight hours of sleep is optimal, and six is minimum, but I can honestly not feel a difference betwen sleeping for 5 hours and 8 hours. If I sleep/stay in my bed for too long in the morning, I get a headache similar to hangover.

Goddanm #theadmiral, if there's a prize for you in the next annual awards it would be for the most curious user in the GTAF.

Always midnight, it doesn't matter where I am or if there is a bed. That's the time I sleep.
