Underbelly of paradise - or whatever the name is - was memorable, almost as much the pisswasser TV spot
The TV is underrated in this game

Before I did the finale, I did 3 saves of the finished Big Score mission so that I can play all options. The first option I did was C though.

HA. I haven't even completed the previous missions before the finale...

I screwed up big time. I just finished today, and I picked A. I thought C was going to kill Franklin, which I didn't want to do. They really did not make it specific what it was. I now know that I should never assume that it means something. Now I am stuck with never being able to use Trevor again. Darn that autosave. I really should have looked up what deathwish really meant.
And thinking of it, even if deathwish did mean to kill franklin, i don't understand why I wouldn't pick that. I guess I just have something wrong with me, cause Trevor was my second favorite, Michael was my favorite. I guess I thought that if anyone deserved to die, it was Trevor.

I chose C.
GTA V is the first game to allow you to have multiple characters, so I wanted to exploit that feature to its maximum after I had finished the game (i.e., have all three characters, not just two).
Posted 24 December 2013 - 05:16 AM
C was the option I picked, and in my opinion, is the true ending for GTA V.
A and B's endings were just really wrong. I mean, killing off one of the major protagonists, while all the antagonists walk away unharmed?
That just goes against everything a good story should be. Option A was not as bad since Trevor is just f***in insane, but even he doesn't double-cross anybody. As for Michael, he's my favourite character. Among all three of them, he has the most to lose from dying (family).
Not only did C allow all 3 protagonists to live (which should have been expected), all the bad guys got what they deserved in the end.
Honestly, Rockstar should've only allowed C as an ending; the other two shouldn't even exist.

Unfortunately, I chose option "A" the first time I played because I was afraid if I chose option "C" all the characters would die or something. So I redid the story a week later to keep all of them.

which ending did you choose the first time you saw devin weston gave you the options? i don't mean what is your preferred ending. i mean which ending did you pick first?

I picked kill trevor. I didn't want to kill Michael because he has a family, and I thought that deathwish was to kill franklin who is my favorite protagonist. So I chose the character who I least played as.

First playthrough I chose C. I had a feeling it would be some kind of epic last stand.
Second time I chose A. It just felt right, felt like justice after what happened to poor Floyd and Debra.
I have not and will never chose B. I did youtube it though and damn! Sad.
Posted 30 December 2013 - 05:13 AM
Damn. That's all I can say. I chose A,Spoiler
Replay the story mode. Relax, I also used A, and luckily I got a save before applying the option.
this is the right way. dont reveal the truth -_-

I chose C, I might go back at some point and redo the mission and choose A and B.

I chose C and just watched endings A and B on youtube, they ain't worth playing imo. I'm happy with my choice because it has the bigger finale and the trio gets to stay together.

I chose C.
I thought Frankling would have died in C.
I'm glad he didn't, as i rather would have killed Trevor.

Clearly, I'm an idiot and cannot tell which page I'm browsing.
Just so this is relevant: my brother actually told me what happened in all of the endings when I was about 30% through the game, so I didn't have the luxury of finding out for myself. It didn't make much of a difference, as I would have chosen C anyway, but in a way, I was kind of glad for the heads up.
Not so glad of the spoilers.

I chose C, and I'll choose C every time I replay the game. I like all three protagonists, I couldn't bring myself to kill any of them.
Besides, why would you want Steve and Devin to live? They're lame villains, but they're both such douchebags.

I chose C. I wouldn't want the game to lose appeal by having me lose a main character forever, and i'm not willing to start a new playthrough.

I chose Deathwish but what would have happened to Trevor's stuff if I killed him
Posted 11 January 2014 - 01:36 AM
I picked C because I thought that was the correct option. I mean, story-wise, Franklin is not a backstabbing bitch. If someone had to die forcefully in any of the endings, I'd rather sacrifice "myself" (Franklin) heroically instead of betraying and killing one of my friends.
Luckily, this option turned out to be the best and truest of all endings (at least for me).

Ok, I need help. I chose to kill Trevor today to see if I got his stuff. I got part of his share from the big score but I noticed I didn't get the garage I bought with him or his hanger and Mckenzie airfield. It seems to me like I should get his garage and airfield along with the money but is the money all I get?

The way the choices were structured made me feel like someone HAD to DIE be it A: Trevor B. Michael or C: Deathwish (which sounded like Franklin has to pay the price for not making a choice). If anyone had to die, I would have picked Trevor which to me was the most logical as Michael has a family and is trying to reform to become a better person. Franklin is still young and has a full life ahead of him if he uses the money from the last heist to set himself up. Trevor has neither family and only one friend, Ron. Noone would miss him if he is gone.. But yet I liked him as a character for his craziness and irrational behaviour. In other words, I loved all three characters and didnt want them to die (besides, all three owned properties though, why work so hard to get enough dough to buy them if you knew you were gonna lose them later on?)
In the end I had to google the answer. Given the fact that you DO NOT get PAID for the final heist until AFTER you have made a decision here, here's some spoiler free tips for people who haven't yet made the choice. From IGN wiki: In A) Trevor dies and his share of the final heist (but not is properties) is split, making it super profitable for Michael and Franklin. In B) Michael dies: his share is permanently lost, making it the least profitable option for all characters. C) Happy Ending, noone dies. Everyone keeps their own share.
I picked C simply because I love happy endings

Trevor has neither family and only one friend, Ron. Noone would miss him if he is gone..
This is exactly why I never considered killing him, actually.
Trevor is psychopath, but so is Michael and so is Franklin. T doesn't hide it, though, because he isn't ashamed and he isn't pursuing a life that others see as being 'better'. He is the purest of the three characters and he preaches loyalty. As evil and as menacing and as crazy as he is, he didn't kill Michael because of his family. Even though M betrayed him and didn't feel an ounce of remorse, T was still there in the end to help him out and even went on to forgive him during a post "C" ending hangout.
Michael betrayed his friends for the pursuit of a better life, but eventually strayed back into his old ways and never was the family man he promised to be. His "clean slate" was never really clean.
Franklin resented everybody around him in the hood because he saw through the gang signs and realized how sh*tty living in said hood is. Did he change for the better? No. He changed for the money. He may be smarter than his hood brethren, but he's wrong to act as if he's morally superior -- hence Tanisha not taking him back.
Trevor never changed. He never saw the need for change. He was the one who tried tapping into the roots of both Michael and Franklin during the story and can identify himself as an insane, murdering meth smoker without an ounce of shame. He's got nothing to be but himself, and unfortunately for him, this is why nobody cares about him. He's pure, but in a bad way. He's purely f*cked up. But pureness is a trait that T carries that very, very few people do, especially in a place like Los Santos.
Franklin actually becomes the most detestable scumbag of them all if he decides to kill M or T.

I chose A, and I think it made the most sense as well.
Still, I chose C.
