I agree with OP's thesis. Adder is better if you have skill.

The Cheetah is much better than both the Entity and the Adder...

But it looks crap
I disagree, they are all hideous looking cars. I own both the Entity and Adder on my second character.

It's all about the driver.  Find the car that fits you.  If you win with it, stick with it.  If you lose with it, find something else.

For those of you saying, "the better driver drives the Adder" let me correct you by saying the better driver wins in any car.

If you think you're a better driver then drive with a completely stock car in all your races and get back to me.  I'll bet you find your results are similar to your upgraded car.

As far as racing goes they excel in different areas. The entity is awd and that gives it abnormal grip. The adder is a bit faster but the entity can be driven more aggressively. So in equally skilled hands different cars will win on different tracks.

Oh and on a side note, entity is also one of the best off road vehicles in the game as stupid as that is.

People still have this conversation? Who really gives a sh*t? I've driven both and they feel the same. If you can drive, it doesn't really matter since the top speeds have been capped and the fact that most races are on "Catch Up".

Please stop clogging the forums up with the same threads every day.

I did a GTA race today in my Entity. Here are a portion of the results:
1. gear999XTR-Entity XF
2. Cheetah
3. Adder
4. Adder
5. Cheetah
6. Bullet
7. Entity XF
8. Adder
It was "The Commute" with 16 players in it.

I had a similar experience just the other day only it went:

1. grasseyeball-Vacca
2. Adder
3. Adder
4. Adder
5. Adder
6. Adder
7. Adder
8. Adder

If you win vs adders and entitys with any other car, then it's because they were crap.

I thought entity was the best for a long time... But I have switched to adder now as it is superior for pro racers. Period

Adder has better acceleration. It's better for races with a lot of straightaways. Especially fully modded Adders. Entities only have slightly better handling which is better for races with a lot of turns - but even still, there are supercars better for races with lots of tight corners.

Entity seemed to be best for races with constant slight turns, like Criminal Records.

I'm the proud owner of an Adder, mainly for how it looks, but also it's performance.

I don't really see the point in arguing over which Super Car is better, considering its all in YOUR driving skill, and R* "limited" top speed to about 150 MPH, the only way to actually hit the top speed of the cars is using Franklin in SP. All that really matters is your personal driving skill, Traction, and Acceleration. Since the game is limited to 150 MPH, Speed doesn't matter, and braking makes miniscule difference.

And before you ask, R* limited speed because of the rendering of the game. In Online, the game can barely keep up at 150+ MPH, because of all the people, but in SP, its just your character.

They're supercars, what do they expect? Have you ever seen a Koenigsegg or Bugatti drift in real life?:

Entinity drivers are the old adder drivers, they are all trolls who shoot you because there back window is bp. Atleast the adder doesn't look like dog sh*t with headlights

I just want to let you al know that both are crap but that's just my personnal opinion.  I only ever see griefers in these cars anyway.

Carry on.

If I had a bounty on my head, OP would never catch me in my Entity. (unless he's in a buzzard/lazer or something)

I like my adder more than my entity, but would I trade one for the other? Not a chance. They have equal trade off on paper but in actuality I have yet to be caught in my adder.

Dafuq game is everyone else playing? In my game, the Entity is the fastest. The Adder stats are a lie. That overpriced wannabe bullet is only good for holding the road. The best racer can always win in half the super cars. That doesn't mean anything. What matters is what will happen when you put two bots of equal skill against each other... Entity will take it easily. And we're talking about if both bots performed perfectly. Every race will have different results based on many factors that can never be perfected.

Put two equally skilled drivers in each car and Entity will always win.

Extra grip > extra straight line speed.

You´ll need one of these sh*t highway races for the top speed to come into play. Throw some corners here and there and Adder is well behind. And even in straight line races, overpowered slipstream makes it a lottery.

Entity > Adder.

Hmmm...  lose traction, or maintain it..?  What, I wonder, would allow me more control of my car?  Could mashing the brakes and sliding with such friction really get me there quicker...?  And not the ability to accelerate faster, and sooner, coming out of the corner...?

As for the cars;  they each tend to have a certain type of track that would show their strengths over the other.  Dipping in is a good example of where an Entity would out maneuver and Adder through the curves on the way out of town, but the Adder would gain ground on the long stretch back in.  A race with short straights and many tight turns could bring a Voltic to the front of the pack.  Ok--  so I might be giving the Voltic a little too much credit, but even that car has some advantage over others.

But don't take it from me.  I've only raced ~600 races.  Listen to the guy who has raced 700 times, since he definitely knows best.
