I once played this NES on fake Nintendo console, but it no longer works, so i'm left with a PC only.
Here's an image of the cardridge, but a part of it is scrapped off:
dz0u.jpg
The first word might be: ADVENTURE.

Here's a presentation of game made in MS Paint:
564s.png

Description:
there was a game hero that could grow into tree and be on top of that.
A game hero could then jump and he would spin around until he's attached to solid ground.
Levels featured many towers, trees and the like.

In reward I could do some coding work for a person who correctly identifies this game.

Yeah, I just did an intensive search for that game man.. came up empty. With some of those letters, I've came to the conclusion that it has like a 60-65% probability that it says Adventure(s) .. but I've searched every NES game ever made with that name and that sticker on there doesn't pop up at all on any of the game covers. Is this an actual licensed NES game.. or a Japanese bootleg game? I know the cartridge is Famicom or whatever.. but I haven't the slightest clue man. Any other details that you can share?

Adventure Island, II or III maybe?

Bonk's Adventure?

I don't suppose it's one of the adventure Island games?

Oh, already beaten to it.

As far as i remember the game text was Japanese or Chinese because the script. Unfortunately i have currently no console to run this game.
It might be a bootleq, thanks you for introducing me into this term, i got this game from someone.
On image you can be sure about following letters: ENTU
The U letter - you can see the bottom and the part of this letter, not a middle though.

On the bottom there is written SUPER 1049. I'll try searching it.

Is it a counterfeit copy of bible adventures with a different name?

I was thinking that Noah's Ark video game myself, made by Konami. Is that similar?

Well, Famcom had dark blue cartridges but they are not quite the same the one in the first post.

See the image here.

Good going CatDog :^: Been dying to know what it is since seeing the topic, I love a good mystery. Definitely seems like Adventure Island, the little guy on the right hand side of your pic matches (see bottom cart)

Yeah, going by the letters on your game, it's definitely Adventure, so possibly Adventure Island.. I hope so anyways.. other than that. I can't find anything on the image you've provided.

The goal is to find a ROM or at least reference to the actual game.
Licenced Adventure Island 2 is completely different from what my game is.
Perhaps an image of cartridge is completely wrong.

@nightwalker83, i've seen your link.

If it turns out to be impossible to find this game on Google, then i might buy a necessary equipment and read the game off cartridge and create a .nes file. I know i could it, only with some money spent on it.

Th3MaN1, i've had a similar one.

This game conversely to what's written on cartridge's description is NOT Adventure Island 2.
It's unknown game.

Well when was the last time you played this game? The image you posted clearly shows it's Adventure Island 2, and I highly doubt they put the wrong picture on the cartridge.

Maybe you just don't remember exactly what happens in the game? Would a gameplay vid or something maybe help jog your memory? Maybe you are confusing various games with each other, I dunno..

Wait, so are you saying the game you played had Adventure Island II on the cartridge case but was actually something completely different altogether? I don't see how anyone is expected to figure out what it was if that's the case. That's like asking us "hey, I used to have a copy of some platformer on the Gameboy in a Kirby's Dream Land case, but it was actually a completely different game that had nothing to do with Kirby, what game was it?"

@chainsoar, at the time of making a topic, i didn't know that a description on cartridge will be wrong.
Now i know it since the isn't any of Adventure Island, i know Adventure Island games pretty well, i played these games too.
The player in a game i played could quickly grow into tree with a button press.
I played this game about 3 years ago.

There are actually Adventure Island bootlegs simply called:

Island

and

Island II

Big chance it's that game.

I asked my friend who is an expert on odd and rare nes and famicom games, and he seems to think you're making this game up.

^ what I'm thinking too. If there's the ability to grow into a tree or whatever in the game, I would've found something through google by now.

It's that game. Even I mentioned AI2 in my first post.. even the images are identical, the triceratops and the mushrooms in the OP's post.

Either he showed us the wrong game or he doesn't even recall the gameplay.. because that's the game you've showed us man.

The absolute first game I thought of , within 20 seconds, was adventure island, but the whole "Grow a tree" thing threw me off entirely.

It turned out to be be different game than what's printed on the cartridge label.
My Google skills didn't help with finding this game.
I'm going to buy NES console soon, then i'll be able to make a real screenshot.
