I really want to unlock all the car mods, but I'm just not a very good racer. I've won four and lost twenty. I'm not the worst, that's not it, but usually I'm 2nd, or 3rd, or 4th... It's annoying as sh*t.

Winning 50 times will take me weeks. Is there an easier way?

Play solo? Pretty sure that would work.

Solo wins don't count, sadly.  I am in the same boat as the OP - I can't win a fair race, let alone the usual destruction derbies in freeroam.  I need to win 50 races and I can't ever see it happening except by trading wins with someone for hours on a short race (like a playlist of 1-lap Down the Drain, 100 times in a row).

You wanna boost something with me if you're on ps3? We'll play together, I'll let you win everything, you vote up my race? Win-win. PSN: mitchbel1996. Tell me if you're up. The race is under 1 minute if we do 1 lap. Obviously we can't do 50 wins, but we can do a good amount.

Look for a race called The Diabolical Deathrace.  You will suck at first, but once you get the hang of it you will be able to trick opponents not familiar with the map.  It's a map full of booby traps (ramps that throw you off the map, gas tanks that are placed right on checkpoints, etc.).   Most people have not played it...it was created by some guy called PayUp58, I think.

You could also create your own races...that way you'll know more about the map than your opponents.

Use the Bati 801 holding  Wheelies  as much as you can  around the track.

I used Downtown underground and took custom Vehicles off

Or boost with a friend.

Back then when everyone farmed criminal records, I always hosted the race just to enable rain and traffic, I won every race XD

Well are you on PS3 or Xbox360? Because I suggest you trade wins with someone then.

i raced a R* verified race yesteday called Jump, Jumps, Jumps. it was a point to point, short, straight, just had some straight jumps. raced it with supers and won 8 out of 10. once you learn it, it is a fun short race. the last jump if you go topt speed to smack into a bridge, so slow down on that one lol.

Practice.  Or just keep trying random races.  All this week about 1 in 10 races I joined had just one person in it, and they wanted to come in last due to that hack where the looser gets a crap load of RP and money.  These idiots seem to be everywhere so you should have no problem finding one.

MolochTurtle

will let you win all races but I don't think I will have the fun to do 50 races... but 20 will do the job, too, if there are other helpers, too ;)

just win em legit

so what it takes a long time

that's the whole f*cking point

what you should do is host races and turn off custom vehicles

start them with only a few players so it doesn't become one big clusterf*ck at the start

and than beat them

I think most people win 1 in 4 or 1 in 5 races.  I've got 124 wins and 326 losses and 2 things I've learnt in my time playing...

i). Not to get desperate trying to get wins, the extra stress you put yourself under makes it unenjoyable...just play for the fun of it and the wins will come.

ii). Learn 2 or 3 of the harder tracks and host races on them exclusively...Thrills in the Hills was always a good one for me.

Failing that...trade wins with a crew member if someone is willing.

As noone seems to have mentioned it only race supers or motorbikes until you have your 50 wons for performance mods to be unlocked

Racing these two unlocks for all classes of vehicle, so you dont need to do 30 muacle, 30 coupes etc

I agree that if you wana better your chances always host, so you can pick the track, class, weather etc, launch the race when theres only two people so your chances are 50:50. And run playlists of short tracks so theres less wautin on votin screens.. You wont get much $ or RP but you will unlock mods

Either that or join a racing crew and make some friends, if you want people to trust you gotta get to know peeps and there have been two on this thread offering you wins, fair ebough its trading for UGC likes but its a way and you both get somethin out of it so why not trust the offer?

I recommend "Fastest Race Ever" - can be done in 20 seconds with a stock adder.  Find a buddy and take turns winning.  You can also game the betting mechanism to get an extra $1000 every other race.

To win, you must be smart. Lay behind all the cars driving in front and wait for them to spin each other out, then you drive up to 2nd place and stay there until right before finish line and slipstream past.
Be smart, not a mindless sheep. And remember to brake.

The class doesn't matter, a win in one counts for all.

find a tough track and only race that one so you get good at it.

Host the race and start with only one other player to increase your odds of winning.

I won most of my races in  Over The Hump with traffic on.

It's rarely is raced and has a few spots that will catch new drivers.

Also, make sure custom is off until you have a modded car of your own.

An suv or compact will increase your odds of having the faster car as well.

Race in FREE AIM.

You will have smaller lobbies... Just make sure catch up is on so you will have a chance against fully modded cars.

And then just race clean....

ROFL....!

Yeah, the only way is to get another player to 'LET YOU WIN'. That's why I finally just have up on the idea of ever getting additional mods for my vehicle(s). If I wanted to race I'd go play Forza Motorsports.
