This may sound insensitive, but how many people cared about Paul Walker BEFORE he died?

^^^ Can't speak for everyone but the dude was a SoCal legend and a big time car guy. I'd say he was quite popular and cared about, yeah.

I'd rather have a Ryan Dunn dlc thanks. At least he was driving. And drunk as duck.

San Andreas had the Elegy which was the R32 skyline... now we just have the R35 GTR. It also had the Jester which was a Supra, and the ZR350 which is the FD RX-7. I wouldn't mind seeing these in V as they are some of my favorite tuners.

idk, I would love an R34 rendition of the Skyline, but as Paul Walker tribute? It's kind of macabre in my opinion...

Also, mods are the way to go, just have to wait for the PC version of GTA V.

You should go and play NFS: Rivals OP

Rivals don`t have these epic cars and you can`t customize them there. Terrible NFS game...

Thanks for the info.

I still can't believe they cut out Customization /facepalm

They have been doing that for the last couple of games, that is why the last NFS I bought and enjoyed was Undercover. After that I just look at some gameplay on youtube to see if they actually did the game right this time.

People want NFS Underground 3, but even if they will make it it won`t be good, because they will once again cut car customization and there will be no classic tuners, like 1999 Eclipes, R34 Skyline.

I hope R* will add insane amount of DLC cars. And one thing I love is that they are basically taking a real life car and change a thing here and there. I hope they will add like a Street Racing DLC with some cool tracks, these cool street racing classics and new modifications.

A little let down with the customization is the Feltzer example. In GTA4 it was a regular car and when we saw the first screen of it in GTA5 it had a body kit, I thought it was customized, but it turned out that it`s like that by default. :(

This forum really should be 17+

Please sir, with your infinite wisdom. How exactly would that ever work?

It most likely wouldn't, although it might make the 12 year olds act more mature.

Agreed. I've literally watched shows that analyze Adolf Hitler and praise his ability to move millions. For some reason or another, it seems as though death is the ultimate forgivness for being a douchebag. That's not to say that Paul Walker was a douche, but the way I see it, he was just some average actor who played a character in an overly exhausted movie franchise that needs to die and is really only responsible for exploiting underground racing\ridiculous car customization, and promoting it, making it almost impossible to find a Honda Civic that hasn't been altered in some way or another. Past that, he was just some guy with a lot of money and pressures to donate it. His family and friends will miss him, but none of us ever would if he wasn't in Fast and Furious movies.

That being said, why the hell would I care to have him or anything related to\dedicated to him in a game?

I really hate some of these posters and how close minded they are. Yes, hate.

Just because you didn't know him, doesn't mean this isn't relatively a bad idea. It'd actually make sense.

DLC For Walker, due to the fact he was in movies you could relate to GTA makes sense. Even if you don't know him, the two fanbases for Fast Furious, and GTA are probably common.

But whatever, logic speaking.

I say they should bring back the original elegy from SA as a dlc.  Since it's like a skyline.

Lol, "logic."

For a corporation, It isn't "logical" to spend millions or even thousands of dollars developing content for an unknown number of fans who'd actually buy or use it in memory of an actor that half the fan base won't know about or care for, not even taking into consideration the fact that actor Paul Walker had NOTHING to do with the GTA series.

In doing so, they'd not only be wasting money and appealing to only a very small fraction of their player base, but also breaking the Rockstar tradition of remaining impartial to real life events like Walker's death (excluding their satire of course.)

Granted, I didn't expect you all to know that. You both sound fairly liberal and that speaks for itself.

honestly, this will sound mean, but thats just a dumb idea. Paul Walker had NOTHING to do with GTA. If he had any significance to the GTA series i could see it. but he doesnt.

I don't know where you're from but here there was alot of paul walker memory car cruises. What the f*ck for? He was an actor, all these c*nts acting like he was the best racer in the world. I bet half the time on Fast and Furious he didn't even drive a real car away from the green screen.

If you really want to honor Paul Walker then buy a red comet, crash it and watch it burst into flames.

Nah.

He was a car guy long before he was an actor. SoCal has one of, if not the biggest car cultures in the world.

I'm surprised so many people spout off this 'he was an actor' sh*t, like that means he couldn't have actually been into cars and racing himself.

Do some reaserch the next time you want to disparage a dead guy.

Edit- I don't think anyone wants a direct reference to him, we'd just like to see some of the epic cars he actually owned in real life, in the game.
