Oh lord, the irony here is spot-on.

Whoever made that was too busy obsessing over the "links" between a dead rapper and about 1/4 of a country that's best known for committing mass genocide to make anything convincing, rather putting footage of tupac over some accordion player.

What you're trying to tell me is like me trying to convince you that this is actual footage of somebody getting hit by a train.

Don't confuse gyros and souvlaki.

This is souvlaki. souvlaki.jpg

Gyros is the meat inside the souvlaki.

If you haven't eaten souvlaki in Greece, you can't know how tasty it is!

I ate it, it's f*cking awesome.

50 billion times better than Kebab.

True, but the "classic" way to eat souvlaki is without French fries.

You can put them if you want, though.

I love gyro's .. our mall has one called Savannah Gyro and I swear it's the best food out there.. or atleast in that Food Court. The one I normally get they use lamb skin I believe or atleast that's what I've heard, either way.. it's still tasty and there's this special sauce they put on it.. mmm. Damn, now I'm hungry.

The other Greek sandwich that is very tasty is the loukoniko one . Also Greek coffee is much better than Turkish coffee .

That white stuff is the sauce or whatever.. any clue on what it may be anyone? I guess next time I eat there I'll ask. If they sell it in stores, I'm snagging it.

Its called Tzatziki. It is easy to make and you can also buy it at many stores, like trader joes.

1 cup greek yogurt

1 cup sour cream

2 diced cucumbers (peeled)

1 tsp chopped dill

salt, pepper

2 garlic cloves

1tbsp vinegar

3 tbsp. olive oil

Just put it all in a bowl and stir it. You can also use some lemon juice instead of vinegar or use all yogurt instead of half sour cream.

Wrote some of those ingredients down for my new grocery list. Definitely going to be making some of that! Get some tortillas or pita bread and go to town.

Well sh*t, I was in Hellas this year, only if I knew you before I would have had better souvlaki's.

I ate at some in Saloniki, they f*cking littered it with onions.

The local Greek restaurant here is really good. You can get two types of gyro, the one with the typical gyro meat that is some kind of compressed lamb/beef mix , or this other really good kind which I think is more traditional where they actually layer pieces of pork and fat and roast it all day on a rotisserie. Littered with onions, tomato, feta, French fries, and tzatziki. Feel like you need to run two miles after you eat it though.

That one guy is eating a sandwich and none of the other pictures have anything to do with kabobs or gyros.

Ever hear the profoundly wrong stereotype that dude's saying that every single Serb hates Kebabs and obsesses over Tupac?

Evidently according to that lol232 dude, he said basically what I told you - all Serbs hate kebabs and love Tupac. He kept telling me that over and over again till it drove me nuts.

I know there's a gyro place at the mall I go to, along with the Chinese takeaway I order from having kebabs.

Kebabs are probably one of the best food ever. Always go to the takeaway every friday and buy myself a Kebab on a sandwich.

If you ever come back to Athens, I suggest you visit the Monastiraki Square, the best souvlaki in Greece is there :D (the kebab souvlaki is pretty awesome there, too)
