We should all know by now that the next gta will probably set in Vice City, but the timeline should be different.

There should be more features and alternatives, for example in gta v you can go to the internet, the next gta you should be able to read updated newspapers/and or watch the news.

No.
We all made that assumption before V was announced, and were wrong. I don't think, nor do I want, the next GTA to be in Vice City.
Give me San Fierro in the 1970's and I'll be happy.

I have a bet that it would have to be Vice City again. I'm still hoping for that and I hope everyone would realize just how far Vice City can go not just being stuck forever in the 80s.

Vice city would have gone  no where withought the 80s, think of it the maps so small.

Yes the 80s is the golden era of Miami, where Vice City was based on but you significantly don't know what is Miami today that the 80s don't have.

It would play a roll in the series sort of i was thinking 1978 to 81 just because it can practically make you feel like you are in that time decade and they could put old school arcades and all sorts which made the late 70s early 80s awesome

I would very much like GTA to turn to past decades for a setting. It would be nice to not have all the modern conveniences like cellphones, internet, and gps.

Newspapers, payphones and an answering service is all there was available for most of the 20th century.

Movies of course... and tv.

Heck! There could even be a drive-in movie theater. That would be fun.
