How to give object velocity with opcode 05A7

I want to give velocity in this object id 3277.

and was make looping script to this opcode. but nothing happened.

Is this opcode (05A7) works only on a particular object ? :facedesk:

can you use 034E? is same but to especific coord

tip: if you want to move not to coord and yes to, for example, right, get the coord of object in offset 1.0 0.0 0.0 and then move it the that coord using 034E :p

 

btw: looping

btw²: use low values in velocity of movement

btw³: look 05A7, this is not exactly to move, this is "initial velocity"

thanks 4 your idea but i already use opcode 034E, its work but when i rise objects and move object in x / y direction the side collision is ignored. its made me fall. I want to make moving object that can keep solid collision to keep player standing on.

there are idea to keep solid collision when object moving?

did you read this lesson about objects collisions behavior?
you want to ride on the sam base?
i would use the basketball and attach player and sam base to it
and then throw the basketball by 05A7

thanks ZAZ, but how i can attach player to object, there is no opcode to attach actor to object, available only attach object to actor...?

can we move object that was attached to player?
