For me, i've always wanted to be spontaneous, i've known people who've been spontaneous, that will go do something at a moments notice, not worrying about things, I always wanted to be that guy, and as of late, i've been trying to, perhaps you remember the film Yes Man? That is in part about being spontaneous, and just taking whatever opportunity that flies by.

My most spontaneous thing right now was last Saturday I woke up to a phone call at about 10AM, my mates on the other end of the line were basically yelling at me in unison making it difficult to understand:
"Mick! Eh do you wanna come to Hopsin in Sydney today? We're staying the night in a room there, Tom bitched out so we got a spare ticket,"
I paused I thought about it longer than I should've, then I decided f*ck it, i'm not doing anything, take the opportunity, because if you miss it, it might not come again.
Me - "Uh yeah, when are we leaving"
Them  - "We're about 50 minutes away from yours, get ready! Bring a collared shirt we're going out in the city after"
I flew out of bed, went to go get a dress shirt to wear, but I remembered that the night before I washed the one I wanted but wasn't bothered enough to hang my washing, so I grab my sh*t from the machine, dry my pants, shirt and singlet on a hair-dryer while I eat breakfast in the shower, I even went to the shops to get the black undershirt I wanted.

They picked me up as they said and I managed to get everything together, we made the drive in about 4 hours got set up at the room we were staying in, found our secure parking in the CBD and then bounced off to the nearest pub for pre-drinks, we caught a train to the suburb the concert was in and it went from about 6ish until close to 1 in the AM, then we hit up the casino, went to a night club, and then a strip club to finish, got to the room and went to sleep around 530-6ish. Got woken up at 10 in the AM by a banging on the door, it was the staff of the place we were staying, we were getting kicked out haha, we all stumbed out wearing the clothes from last night, quickly got changed in the toilet and then made the 30 minute walk back to our park and drove home. It was an awesome couple days, very much enjoyed it.

I hope to one day have enough money to book spontaneous trips overseas with only a days notice to whoever I bring, spontaneous trips are the best, I find when you have a really close deadline, you power through and end up making the most of your time.

Share your stories, mine was long winded, cliffs: I woke up at 10AM by phone, told to be ready at 11 for an overnight trip to a concert in a city 4 hours away.

Sometimes I like to use a steak knife instead of a butter knife when eating dinner. I live dangerously.

I sometimes drink milk that has passed the expiration date by a few days. I too like to live dangerously.

Being serious, I honestly can't think of a time where I've been spontaneous. Unless spontaneous=doing stupid sh*t, then yeah, I've got tons of those stories.

I enjoy your attempt at humour, but that isn't spontaneous, that's just outright dangerousness, you shouldn't do that.

The other day I was just lazing around when I suddenly decided to go see The Hobbit:  Desolation of Smaug.

I wish I was as well. Actually, since I have been looking for a new car I think after I get one I may just leave my current town without the expectation of coming back to it. I probably will come back though, but I truthfully just wanna leave and say F it to everything and everyone and leave all my worries behind. I have been spontaneous a few times, but they usually end up with me having a person I was once a pal of hating me or something. I haven't had good experiences with being spontaneous. I have wanted to visit other countries as well. Germany, Japan, Australia, Canada, Ireland, Korea ( both N+S) etc. I think given the financial security I would definitely do more spontaneous things.

A night I was with my buddies and I saw a pretty cool and high lampost so I thought "f*ck, I need to climb to that lampost" so I climbed it without thinking it twice. Gotta say that I wasn't under influence but there was some sexy chick that mmmmm.

Does it count?

Alright.

-When I was a kid I used to break other kids' toys for no apparent reason

-I was a class clown and said random sh*t for attention back in my high school days

-Sometimes I'll just go on a drive through my town instead of going home after work.

At times, when we friends are sitting together, someone suddenly says, "let's get high" and then we have the best times. Pre-planned parties on the other hand, aren't that enjoyable.

I am pretty spontaneous and I rarely say no to any opportunity which comes my way. I basically have the attitude that there will come a time when your friends stop ringing and asking you to come out and the adventures will end. And once they're over you'd better have a healthy bank of experiences and stories to keep you warm or else you live with the dull ache of regret for a life half lived.

There is this girl at my workplace who irritates me with her high pitch sound in the office constantly talking about some thing or the other. I am supposed to work with her and as usual her gossip irritates me a lot. To overcome this I bang the desk drawers, windows or some thing to scare the sh*t out of her. She leaves the room immediately and finds some one else to continue.

A nice girl but her mouth never stops and whenever shes around I often have the urge to frighten her *so spontaneous!* even she is aware of my reaction.

She understands that not every one enjoys her gossip and still never keeps her mouth shut. NEVER :-(

I almost never get bored so I don't often feel the need to do something spontaneous.

I'm sitting here trying to think up a story.  I know I must have 1 or a few.

I just now realized that I think I've been living my life from one spontaneous moment to another.

You don't have to be bored to have fun.

One time in middle school I went to the bathroom during class. I then jacked off and came on the toilet seat. Leaving a little present for whoever sat on that seat without wiping it off first.

The kicker was, that I went into the girls bathroom. So a girl may have sat on my cum, and it may have impregnated her if it got all the way up her vagina. That.... is spontaneous as f*ck right?

When I made this topic I was talking about last minute travel plans, or last minute dates or nights out that ended up with you finding your wife or some sh*t, not coming in the girls toilets.

but if that's where you guys want the topic to go, that's cool.

This reply, made me laugh out loud, and I haven't literally lol'd in awhile. Thank you.

Usually, but generally being spontaneous is more fun than doing the same thing but planning weeks in advance.

I got a boner in school once so I rubbed my cock when nobody was looking. True story.
