I would like to know if there are other older players enjoying this game. I have been gaming since the first video games came on the scene, like Pong, and Intelevision. I am just turning 63 and am curious if there are others like me, or if I am an anomaly. Please reply if you are another "old" person. By the way , I think this is the best video game of all time. I play every day although I am only at rank 51 online.

Can it be brain age (mentally) and not physical? Cause then I'd be about 109 years old >.<

LOL. No. Actually it has to be years as in life experience. I'd be surprised to even find anyone in their 50's.

I'm glad to see you here. I'm only 24 but I hope I will enjoy things like video games by that age too. I've lost a lot of interest for them over the last 6 years and only play a few of them every year.

DeafMetal is the only person I know who frequents the GTA V forum who's "old" so to speak. He's 44.

I'm only 19 but I seem to be older than a lot of the other online players I come across, they're like 12, you can hear it in their voices.

47 here...

My first video game (arcade type) came out a little after pong (Space Race)-- I was 7 years old and played it at a pizza place in 1973-- Shakey's Pizza Parlor in Riverside California.

http://www.arcade-mu...hp?game_id=9681

I played atari 2600 and atari 5200 til I got a commodore 64 then played mainly PC games-- took quite a bit time off of gaming (college and navy years) until I got a PS2 in 2002 and fell in love with GTA-- my first being Vice CIty.... My favorite game has to be Red Dead Redemption though....

I'm 33 and started out my gaming on a Atari 2600. I got an Amstrad CPC 464 after that followed by an Amiga 500 and eventually a PS1. I currently have a PS1, PSP, PS3, Dreamcast, Gamecube, DS, Master System, NES and Megadrive.

I'm a bit of a gamer.

It's an awesome game. A lot of it due to how beautiful it looks and new changes brought. GTAO is also improving plus great surprises to come in 2014. In short, it's a great game overall and not to be missed even if any one skipped to buy it for consoles. That's all I could say.

*oh! btw, i am still young :-) and even you are NEVER too old for gaming*

im 24 and prefer to play online with older people 'cause there are better partners in missions. but most times you meet those young brainless fools online.

56 here and I play the online game.  My cousin who has me by 10 years and my son in his mid 30's also play.

We play online but mainly in crew only servers since (speaking strictly for myself) I find nothing at all relaxing about constantly watching my back for some 12 yr old with 20/20 vision and 12 yr old reflexes who's decided his idea of a good time is to see how much abuse I'll absorb before leaving the server.

My first computer game was on a Commodore VIC20 for what it's worth...

I was born in 1972, the same year Pong was released, so always feel I've lived alongside the gaming industry. Really enjoying GTAV with two other friends - we only play once a week in an Invite Only lobby and it's great. Some days we concentrate on missions and progression - other days we just faff around in Freemode. Some genuinely entertaining and funny gaming moments guaranteed every time.

Each to their own I suppose. :)

I've been lurking on here for months - it's truly eye-opening the attitude of some people in the world towards what is, by all means, a video game and additionally, a video game developer. I look at some comments and threads on here and just think "Wow, what's the world coming to?". :)

So yes, returning OT... 41 years and loving it. Happy Crimbo. :)

Wohah! Do anyone of you play on PlayStation? Because about 85% of people I meet on PlayStation are younger than me.

And I am only 16!

Oh my gosh! 44 is like soo old dude :p

I guess I count as an old person then. You know what it;s like though OP, you don't feel any different to what you did when you were 17.

What happened to Slamman? he was pushing 50 iirc, cool dude too.
