Many of the default rims are unqiue and I want to keep them, but I want to "black out" a car (need black rims).

I see no reason why we can paint every type of custom rim, but not the default ones...

I'm no programmer, but I'd imagine changing the color of something is about as simple as it gets.

I agree with you. The stock rims tend to best suit cars. I like that chrome shine they have.

you can paint some, i know you can for the merryweather mesa.

just switch to a different rim, colour it, then switch back

Because most of them are chrome ? and chrome can't be painted.

Buy a cheap set of custom rims, paint them. Now buy stock wheels and they will be the new color.

wanes, I know they are chrome, but as far as GTA is concerned, we would just be painting the default SHAPE and DESIGN of the default rims.

I tried the method of painting a custom rim and then going back to the default rim...it doesn't change the color of the default rim.

Yeah it does suck, especially when replicas are like 16-18k!

Would definitely like the option to colour stocks.

Idk but even in most racing games you can't change the color of the stock wheels/rims

Because:

You have to buy new one which cost your in game money and that means closer for you to buy cash cards which will net Rockstar some money.

you can paint stock rims. some cant though (mostly the chrome ones and the ones on the stainer can't). I have white stock rims on my MW mesa. ive  gotten the stock futo rims black also. Heres how

1. buy some dam rimz

2. paint them

3. put stock rims back on

4. BAM painted stock wheels.

as i said, it may not work on every stock rim.

luisniko, they could just charge us the price of custom rims + paint to color the custom rims...they make the rules. so i don't see how it could be about cash cards.
