was a remake of San Andreas 2004. A complete HD remake and that this is what they are doing and it will be out in 5 years time.

They wont use any of Los Santos from GTA V.

I'd be totally happy with an HD remake of San Andreas instead of a new game. Also, I think this belongs more in GTA Series" or San Andreas subforum than it does in GTA V.

It would have to be a remake, a real remake. Not one of those ''we took the old game, made the definition higher, remade!'' remakes.

I'd be all like 'f*ck you Cockstar'.

Seriously, it would be a huge disappointment.

I still play SA in "HD" so I would be disappointed if all they did was increase the resolution of the game, I want higher resolution everything, from geometry to textures and stuff. I also want it to use RAGE with all the physics featured in games like GTA IV, Red Dead, Max Payne 3 and GTA V. And with some additional content.

Saddened, since the PC version can just be modded.

Mods moved San Andreas from SD to HD a long time ago. We don't need a remake, it could be based on San Andreas, like V is. But it's already done, the next step is Vice City in VI on next gen.

I will be like YeeeeHaawww.
YES. It should be made following VC.
I honestly wanted SA in HD. V is cool but it takes away the feel of the SA world.
Seriously just do it Rockstar and take as much money you want

To be honest, I'd rather them just release a great load of DLC for GTA V improving the single player and expanding on it, features and story wise.

A one big DLC that fixes everything, sad that it's not going to happen.

I'd be pissed off. Come on guys, Nostalgia Goggles aside, San Andreas sucked... hard.

If they were to remake the 5 3D games and bundle it as 'Rockstar HD Collection Vol.1' I might buy it. But San Andreas is not worth $60-$70 dollars.

Yeah sadly,  I too cannot see that happening. No harm in wishing though  :rol:

Extremely dissapointed that they would waste time and money on a San Andreas remake instead of a completely new game.

I'd go play my PC version that I already own for 15 minutes, get bored, go to GTAO.

SA was brilliant in single player for the time, but once you've done it a few times....

Pissed off because we would be getting a remake of something rather than a completely new game, but also happy because it would keep the crying San Andreas fanboys off this forums.

but if it were San Andreas 2.0 or something like that:

This, I don't want to waste another $60 on another overhyped GTA game. Even if its a remake.

Yeah, this thread proves why there are so many butthurt haters for GTA V, and why we shouldn't be listening to many of you.

You would happily let R* spend FIVE YEARS recreating the SAME GAME YOU PLAYED OVER A DECADE AGO. Well, almost a decade anyway.  And yet you're unhappy with GTA V BECAUSE IT DOES SOMETHING NEW?

Hey, hey, here's a thought, right. Go play San Andreas. Yeah, yeah, did that actually not occur to anyone hating on V for it not being an SA clone?

Jesus Christ, you're delusional and this kind of stuck in the past mentality of certain fanbases is extremely damaging to the industry and it's artistic progression.

No, there have been enough remakes out there in the gaming industry. R* is better than to do that, at least I thought they were before they released V

San Andreas doesn't need a HD remake. You can't roll a turd in glitter. It's still a turd at the end of the day.

HAHA, but then again GTA IV is already a turd covered in glitter and you seem to love that.  :catspider:

But really, we don't need an HD remake of San Andreas.

It would be huge disappointment. GTA SA can be highly modded in PC to gain new features and graphics already
