Anybody else get hit by this typhoon of snow today?  I'd rather it been -40 all winter than have to deal with a 140ft nightmare of a driveway! :santa:

In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun. You just need to find the fun and SNAP! The jobs a game.

Ah, so you've had the pleasure of experiencing snow as well that literally went on today since 6 AM to like 5 PM. I live 20 minutes away as well in Dearborn, I feel your pain.

Snow hasn't hit Kansas yet, there have been some sprinkles of the stuff, but nothing that's stuck. Hell, the forecast for the next week is strait high 50s. Kansas weather is f*cking weird.

Snow is very rare in my part of Texas and if it does fall it won't require shoveling. That may sound nice but we get triple digit summers with 100% humidity which is pretty awful.

The only time it ever snowed where I live was last year when the weather was pretty screwed up over here. It was just enough to cover the ground. Extremely rare...

I am glad and sad that my country has a monsoon climate. It just doesn't allows us to enjoy the snow flakes like you guys do. But it's moderate climate keeps us from getting any winter diseases. :p

Some of the lamer fathers in history weren't very creative in finding ways to make it a game:
"Hey kids, wanna play shovel the snow for 6 hours straight because I couldn't be screwed to do it?"

Heh, reminds me of a few years ago when I was living there.  Just east of Joshua Tree (closer to the marine base in 29) we had a snow storm!  It was so wild seeing the desert all white and cuddly looking :santa:

I really want it to snow here ( live in the UK, no snow where I am. ) it just doesn't feel like Christmas until it snows! I don't drive either, so wouldn't have to shovel anything so that = no stress, just a lot of falling over if walking places.

It's 37 degrees (F) today. I'm in shorts. It's a nice change from the week of sub-zero high temps.

It'll be warm all week until Friday. Livin it up till then!

I love shoveling snow :D
It's so relaxing and satisfying to see the result, and it's a good workout too :)

But our neighbors doesn't like it at all. Seems like they measure before they start, so that they know that they don't take ANYTHING on our side(even though we take their side from time to time).

This is how it looks after they are finished.

We've been getting just a bit too much a bit too soon around here.  <sigh> and it is going to snow again tomorrow.

This is from 2 weekends ago when we got 8 inches in just a few hours.  If you watch NFL football and saw the Eagles/Detroit game, this is then.  It snowed a few more inches this past weekend as well.
