I was born in a different City but I've been living in my present City for nearly 8 years and I consider it my hometown. I live in Chennai, Southern India. One of the 4 metropolitan cities of India. We are also known as 'Detroit of India' (We are not bankrupt) because we are famous for automobile manufacturing. Near the coast.

290px-Ripon_Building_panorama.jpg

Hah, chennai is my hometown. But, fortunately, I was born and brought up in Mumbai - the best place in the whole nation.

I don't really like the atmosphere in chennai. Instead, I like the food stalls, vada pavs and of course, the bollywood lifestyle. You just can't deny the setting of that city.

I'd like to go to Chennai and play cricket sometime. Don't they have some huge park where everyone plays at the same time? Like 10 matches going on at once. Would love to visit that if the Indians would accept me!

Um, American's aren't supposed to play Cricket. :p

It isn't a park, it's a ground. Although I know of a ground but 10 people don't play cricket there. People take cricket way too seriously here, I prefer football/soccer. Must be one of the few who prefer football/soccer over cricket here, I also hate Indian movies and prefer Hollywood movies.

I do love the food, places etc though and the people are really nice.

I play on a team here full of Indians already. I'd fit in but I don't speak the language. I just know "Shabash" and the bad words.

I'd want one of those Chennai meals where the food all comes on a banana leaf and you eat it with your hands.

Dark? Pfft. It's f*cking New York and Los Angeles combined when evening. Delhi's the dark one, filled with crazy people and stuff.

I always thought Chennai is very crowdy and noisy. You cannot forget the crowd in T-Nagar, can you? ;)

You are more enthusiastic than I was when I first ate on a banana leaf. I have been living to eat in a plate. Banana leaves just show how much religious you are and I hate being Brahmin. It sucks not to touch any meat or non-veg. :/

Born in Bitburg, Germany and am a German and USA citizen. ;) I now live in north westernSan Antonio, Texas and it is okay, I would prefer Houston. San Antonio is interesting downtown and on the north side of town. Usually see some cool cars, though Houston has more.

Well howdy or guten morgen. I live in Houston but San Antonio is more fun imo. Those UT girls have quite the reputation.

I live in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. I was born and raised there. I hate it here.

It's literally one minute from Ottawa, Canada's capital, across the river.

Here, we have bad health care, bad schools, bad mayor, the only things our mayor wants is to raise taxes, make people pay more, have more money, built stupid landmarks that nobody cares about to attract tourists and by that have even more money, built f*cking condos, destroy every low wealth house downtown to built more condos, attract more tourists and have more money. We also have bad transports and we can't get along with Ottawa. For some reasons, they don't want to accept anything that connects both cities (Bridges, buses). And because the federal government is there, Gatineau rarely gets money from the federal government.

BTW, most pictures of the Canadian Parliament from behind are taken from here, across the river. Like this one:

Parliament_Building,_Ontario,_Canada.jpg

When some people come here, they sometimes think they're still in Ottawa. We have the Canadian Museum of Civilization. A lot of people think this is located in Ottawa.

And I also have a bonus picture of my city:

gatineau.jpg

Forgot to say the city looks beautiful...

Serbia.

It was quite fun playing GTA IV and hearing my own language for a change. Albeit, not spoken that well. But for a voice actor that is completely American in accent and speech, it was pretty outstanding.

Also, defending Niko's nationality was fun. So many people outright assumed he was Russian. With good reason, I suppose. Good times back in 08/09... good times...

There's a little photo of Heath, not really any good shops around, but Croydon's only 3 miles up the road.

I do like it here a lot, and if I had to move I would miss it, even though moving is never bad. The crime rates are escalating in certain areas, and for the third biggest city in America, there's still quite a bit of crime in those areas, but I still like it here. At least it's nowhere near a Detroit level (yet).
