Help me, I downloaded a mod from iVic and it is a Lamborghini aventador mod, the problem is the car had some white parts on some parts of the car, can I fix it without txdf*cker I used GTA IMG tool on the play store.

huuuh? How did you add Custom Car Models without a PC??? I allways tried. Even with the IMG Tool!

Maybe he has got the dff and the texture files ;) . Anyways I finished my personal problems and later I will release a McLaren P1 converted for Android.

So... I've tried on 4 seperate occasions to get car mods to work on the android version. I know how to do it, and the cars model shows, but all of the details (Meaning all of the textures put in place by TXDF*cker don't show. Only the car's main color shows. It has worked in the past, but it won't now. Three different models replacing 3 different cars, all the same result. I also don't feel like looking through 980 posts for an answer.

Sorry for the double post, but I couldn't find an edit button. I fixed my previous problem, which turned out to be that I put the gta3 folder in the wrong place. I put it the the same directory as texdb instead of in it, so it wouldn't read gta3.txt. Now, everything is correct and it just force closes after the login screen. I have tried this, again, multiple times with multiple mods with the same result.

Something that I didn't mention in my previous post: I'm currently using v1.03, but when I had v1.02 the mods worked perfectly. So I'll downgrade real quick and try it.

You need to add the textures in txt.txd

Adding in gta3.txt simply makes game crashes

Alright, thanks. The tutorial I read said to use gta3.txt instead, and move the gta3 folder. Does this mean that I need to move the TXD folder?

1.Use EDIT button next time
2.Textures should go to txd.txt, adding textures in gta3.txt simply makes game crash

Sorry darth, but as I said before, I can't find the edit button on mobile. Anyway my issue has been resolved, with 2 stupid causes.

1. The textures can't have any capital letters in their names.
2. There were some missing textures from gta3.txt that should have been in there. And gta3.txt doesn't crash my game... Anymore...

 

Edit: (I'm on PC now) Can someone help me find some low quality dffs? I want to replace the majority of the cars in this game, but almost every car starts lagging the game when there are multiple, even if I resize all of the textures. As long as it's a LQ (Maybe 10,000 faces?) model and a dff 1MB and under, I think I'll be fine. I don't see the point of having a mod with 200,000 faces when it looks not too much better than a model with 1/10th of that.

 

And, uh, sorry about the multi-posting, it won't happen again.

Use gta v and iv cars, there pretty similar to "real" cars.....
If u have zmod, u can remove certain parts of car to make the dff smaller [eg: remove engine, damage parts, extras]
I have a ped & gun mod both with CAPITALS in the names, imported using txdf*cker, works just fine... so idk
I will possibly try to import the txds, into the txd.txt this weekend [ hopefully to stop random crashes] v 1.05 with cleo [ no root ]

Full street map mod
8 cars [mostly gta v]
2 peds
1 gun
17 cleo mods

Running on a Sammy GS4 - no lag unless on max settings [ only when alot of traffic on screen ]

GTA V cars are on gtainside - own category

Well my PC was made in 2005 with XP and very weak specs, so it can't do much. I have another in my dad's place that should be able to run it, but I won't have access until after Mother's day. It also has San Andreas installed on it, so I can test out the edited mods on multiple platforms. Oh, and what exactly does optimizing a mod for android mean?
