I never stored police vehicles, but didn't you have to glitch them in anyway? If that's the case, well it's simple, they don't want you to glitch cars into your garage, not just police vehicles, but any car that's not supposed to be in there. Franklin's Buffalo, Space Hopper, and any other car that isn't supposed to be there will probably be gone tomorrow as well after the update.
If you could store them legit without glitching them in, then I don't know why they'd remove that feature, I'd never store one personally, but I don't have a problem if people want to fill their garage with them. My guess is that they just don't want people pretending to be cops, it takes away the experience a bit when you start a mission that requires killing cops/military and/or drug deals.
It's just nonsensical really.
For a game named stealing cars, you should've been able to store whatever vehicles would fit and wouldn't give you the most unfair advantage, IE: Tank/Heli/Riot Van
My chrome sheriff granger wasn't causing any trouble, and whoever blew it up wouldn't have to pay a cent, plus nobody did anyways.
Maybe just bring back police vehicles with insurance payable only by the owner or even free, and no bad sport if blown up, and nobody would object.
I have to disagree. Like I said, I don't care if you stored or if you could store them, but to say they did if for no reason is pretty ignorant.
No, I don't mind that they patched a glitch allowing unsuitable vehicles to be stored in the garages, it's the fact that before anyone knew of this glitch, the garages didn't allow police cars to begin with.
All I see from this thread is: They patched a glitch I liked. Such greedy bastards for trying to deliver a working gaming experience!
How hard is it to drive to your local police station anyway?
Something all past GTA games have allowed.
Quite easy, my nearest one is in walking distance.
if it weren't for that police cars don't spawn there, I would be there every day.
Yes, other GTA games have allowed you to store them, but how many of those have been online?
Their not just catering for you, there's hundreds of thousands playing the game, and I rarely see anybody complaining about not being able to store a police car.
