This statement screams new cities for me, I don't know why. They were so strict to 'Los Santos' pre release. It's also wise to note that they seem to mention continuing the story. I wonder if the choice you made in the last mission will reflect the DLC storyline in anyway, that's interesting.

Either way, CASINO HEIST. Gotta be, Oceans 11-13 is a massive trilogy of heist films that they cannot ignore as inspiration. No way no way no way.

Since you most likely won't be able to use Trevor or Michael as for the missions because of the ending, it's most likely going to be side-missions as Franklin, probably help Lamar with the hood and sh*t, remember how he called him at the end asking him to hang out? And yeah, Unexpected adventures in SOUTH LOS SANTOS, that sounds right about Franklin's story.

But what could they possibly be doing now? They all just got 20 million each at the end of the story...

By Southern San Andreas, do they mean the current map? A bit confused.

Yes, Southern SA is the current map.

But I believe R* would have just said mayhem and unexpected adventures across Los Santos and Blaine County, wouldn't they?

We are either going to North Yankton (hope, hope, hope) or San Fierro or Las Venturas ;)

No, San Fierro would be northern San Andreas and I doubt Las Venturas is still part of the state of San Andreas in HD GTA Universe.

It says continuing the story of Trevor, Michael and Franklin. So either ending C is canon or the dlc is set before the ending.

Then it's probably just side-missions. Guarantee it.

How does their statement scream "new cities". Pull a map out of your ass and take a look; where do you see them adding a new city? Unless SF, LV, and the state of North Yankton are all going to be their own islands floating in the ocean. :sarcasm:

This post screams dumbf*ckery, I don't know why.

You are part of the problem, guy who posted this post. And I can't wait to quote you when you post your 'disappointments' 24 hours after the DLC releases.

Dude y'all are buzz kills. If he wants to think new cities let him. It most likely won't happen, but man, I hope it does just so y'all can sulk in your negative attitudes.

Half the people here are so f*cking rude, god help you if you're this arrogent in real life.

The island of Southern San Andreas is all we will have as a map. There is plenty to create there.

Other islands/cities will be for gta6 or the expansion of the gtao world.

Expect to use the map we have for a few years.

I feel the gang missions or gang wars are 101% a part of this update.
Plus the city is so beautiful it can hold ridiculous amount of missions on a variety of types. V's city is as good as GTA 4's detailing except the amount of adventures.
But, if they plan to add just a few via free DLC then I'll be heartbroken seriously it can easily add up another 20+ exciting missions.
I will readily pay for it if they offer the length and quantity to go along the quality of the adventures.
Here take it R*

By new cities I don't mean North East or West San Andreas, asshat.

Really Emmi?? REALLY!!?!??!!?? Los Sanots isn't even a state... It's a city in the state of San Andreas. Southern Los Santos (South L.S.) is the part of the city where protagonist Franklin Clinton was born and raised. Southern San Andreas is the region chosen as the setting for GTA V....

Really guys its not rocket science

Actually Franklin Clinton was raised in the by players (and apparently R* employees) little known City of Davis, which is not marked in any official map as an independent city, but the independence is proven in the game. See http://gta.wikia.com/Davis for further information.

Exactly! Lets not forget that the neither the Prison or the Military Base were used in the story for GTA V. I'm probably gonna get flamed for this so I'm gonna go ahead and borrow your armor but I think all this UFO/Jetpack stuff was just hints at what kind of DLC that will be on the way. They have waaaaaaay to much foreshadowing of aliens in the game for it to peter out into nothing. Something tells me the Military Base, the prison, Mount Chiliad, the observatory and the possibly the altruist camp will be used as I can see it being easy for them to simply add instanced interiors to these places. In a lot of places it looks as if they have already prepared to do so (the bunker in the base with the strange green light, the control tower, etc) I'm gonna go on record and say this will all be Alien Invasion DLC with Mike, Trevor, and Franklin saving the world somehow. There, I'm done, flame away!

I usually like "more" realistic games like GTA and sports-games, but this would actually been a cool DLC. Killing military aliens in Fort Zancudo would be awesome.

^^^ Yeah...

Call me a buzz kill all you want, a new location(anything but LC or NY) isn't being added to single player. I get tired of these posts because the same children hyping themselves to oblivion are the same children who post nonstop bitching post release.

I'd rather be labeled as rude than be so stupid I can't see the forest for the trees.

I'd love 3 separate DLC's set a few years before the story takes place. You know, Franklin in the hood, drug-dealing and gangbanging as Lamar's (actual) best friend.. Trevor moves to Sandy Shores and sets up his drug-empire. Michael... does stuff.

Remember the parts in the story where

Spoiler
? My guess is that we might see what happens in that period of time.

it maybe small dlc packs we're receiving but rockstar have gone back on what they've said in previous discussions, i really don't care what they throw at us but if it's new side-mission content ala gang wars or vigilante i'll be most pleased.
