Im not talking complete ninja sh*t... like you ever play China town? You could kung fu your way out of just about any situation with that dude... I hardly ever used guns... that was like my favorite mobile GTA game... I need to buy that one again....

Anyways... Im not saying the game revolves around stealth.... just saying make it more of a workable element... and have the game revolve heavily around Yakuza... I never get ENOUGH Yakuza... like they were all over Liberty City... but it seems you are always fighting them

(I havent played all the Liberty City stories so correct me if I am wrong) But it would be interesting to sort of get into that realm of organised crime.

Like Yakuza started in Japan... mostly corrupt samurai who were involved in mafia like work... protection, extortion, ect... lots of them were responsible for smuggling european guns during the Edo period.... they were huge on running casinos and brothels... HOW is that not organised crime ?! so what If I want a more focused stealth based system... GTA needs to have the ability to SNEAK AND HIDE... i mean you are robbing sh*t, killing people, running and hiding from the cops...

Anyways... We;ve had a mexican dude, 2 black gangsta dudes... plenty of mobster italian dudes, a biker dude, a russian, a silent white guy, an x bank robber, a methed out lunatic and a chinese dude.... a japanese chick would be an interesting mix to the whole thing.

I get that you love the Yakuza, but the criminal underworld in GTA is generally a recreation of real life organized crime in America, at least since Vice City. The Yakuza are not really significant in the US criminal underworld, they just don't have that big enough influence or presence to have a GTA game based around them. Triad gangster in San Fierro or LC maybe yes, but Yakuza? Nah, not plausible.

Hey bud, do you know what Grand Theft Auto means? Only an idiot would suggest a GTA where you play the role of a cop.

Ya true, they are not the biggest organisation present in the US, however they have a significant role in Hawaii... and my home town of Denver oddly enough.... would love to see a snowy GTA up in Denver lol But Hawaii would be sweet. (even though we are always on an island anyways) but just imagine epic helicopter fights over a volcano...

I guess my idea is more revolving around stealth and espionage.... I felt the heists and sh*t in GTA V were so out in the open... I mean you take out the entire police force in Paleto bay... Yakuza and Japanese syndicates seem to fit that stealthy role.

I would just like to be able to sneak in, take someone out, then peace out without being detected (IF you are good enough) instead of always getting into huge gun battles and explosions...

And the few missions where you do sneak, they are entirely scripted... I am talking an open ended mission. Same as old style GTA... even throw in the cimenatic cut scenes but keep it toned down.... like the Lester missions... (kill that guy)... instead of rushing around town blasting him with your sniper rifle and doing it asap... perhaps you could have the option to sneak into the area infiltirate it.. perhaps even knock out a guard and steal his uniform... ect...

Yakuza came to mind because one.. ya I love samurai and the like.. no doh... but 2. Because they actually used ninjas to carry out tasks... assassinating warlords and such... I am sure they are not called ninjas nowdays... HITMEN would be more fitting, however the rituals and traditions of the Yakuza give it this sort of feeling that goes hand in hand with stealth based warfare.

Espionage would be a great thing to add in GTA.... there isnt much of it except the 4 missions you do with the FIB.... and you have no control over what you are doing or why you are doing it...

Hum, well ... if there's only one playable protagonist and he's a cop, im not buying the game. However, if there were multiple protagonists, on multiple cities, that would be interesting. Say, a cartel crimelord in Vice City, an Italian Mafioso owning several casinos in Las Venturas and a shady detective in Liberty City. All working against/for each other without even knowing, or maybe they do. Perhaps the storyline could focus on several aspects that lead to different endings. Maybe the detective/cop could be turned into a corrupted mess or maybe he could do his best to stop the other two protagonists. Maybe they could all work against each other, or join forces and create alliances. Just my opinion.

I like this... but more localized, like all of them in the same city sort of doing the same thing you mentioned.

GTA is a crimegame and it will stay that. Actually, most games out there revolve either around crime or war (not counting racing or sports games)

A police game would simply not be as popular. Yes, that mos does seem to be popular, but only among a certain type of audience who likes roleplaying, and only because it's online. Something like that wouldn't work in singleplayer either, so if you want a cop game, go play some True Crime.

Well I just like the idea of multiple cities because it will bring something fresh to the series. I think Vice City is too reminiscent of Los Santos so if GTA VI takes place in VC, it needs another city with it. Also, I think one city only WITH countryside is also, too reminiscent of V. And adding Liberty City is a great way to:

A) Changing things up, so we get two sunny, hot cities and one dark and cold city.

B) Get rid of it. I don't think we'll ever see another GTA take place in LC just because of the backslash GTA IV got. It might come back in future games, but as a sole city, ... aint too sure about that.
