I send a few friends some money (via giving away fully modded cars) and tuned a couple of cars and now they send me messages everyday asking if I can help them level up, give some more money, mod some more cars for them (which wastes spots in my garage) and etc..

Okay and? Sometimes I would like to play the game but I can't when I get swamped with messages. Should I have put GTA in the title? This can also apply in real life.

Isn't it the other way around? When you ask for help and they feel you owe them?

No you shouldn't have put GTA in the title, you should have just posted it in the GTA section, this is the off topic forum,  even I thought you were talking about something else.

You can't like call a bunch of cheap hits on them until they get the point? Just send 'em a message titled "f*ck off, mod your own cars," it's not like they're there to beat you up for it.

In one of my classes in high school I did a couple of friends' homework for cash (it was tedious homework that we had to do regularly, some silly online math program) , and then a couple weeks later I had six or seven people's stuff lined up. I didn't want to say no after I had done everyone else's, so I never did. I made bank that year without going out and getting a job, but it was so awful grinding away at everyone else's work for hours every night. You have to know when to say no.

Anything GTAV related goes into the GTAV section.
Offtopic is reserved for stuff not relating to games, gta or technology, it's mostly about real life and politics.

Lets wrangle this thread up.

Oh jesus christ you're talking about lending people money in a game.

The message is the same.  Time and time again, I've had friends come and go who feel owed, or entitled once they realize I'm a giving person.  f*ck those people.  Make a habit of proving your kindness is not weakness.  Learn to say no.

You have a tough life.

This has no place here.  The passive aggression isn't warranted.  Yes, kids are starving in Africa.  We're on a video game forum.  If you're trying to raise awareness and help these poor souls, you've missed your mark by 10s of thousands of miles.  f*ck you and your guilt trip.

Kindness has boundaries. If your friends are getting too pushy with their requests, tell them it's becoming too much of a burden for you. You have a right to enjoy the game just as much as anyone else, so let them know you did what you could and that's it. A real friend would understand and back off your ass. If they don't, then f*ck em, they weren't your friend.

And that f*cker starts catching fish better than you.
