I mean, c'mon. He has a pretty damn crappy song in the game. Why couldn't he have something like Footloose or Danger Zone? Does anyone else agree? Then again, most of LSRR could have been 100% better. As much as I love GTA V, the soundtrack, especially LSRR (the station i listen to most), is quite disappointing.

(also, he shouldn't be LSRR's host, but meh.)

Nah man, I've always much preferred I'm Free over pretty much the rest of his work (with the exception of I'm Alright). And while I was expecting more stuff along the lines of this:

I am pretty much impressed with it. To be honest, I much prefer soft rock over hard rock, however I still listen to and adore them both.

There are few songs I can't stand more than Footloose. Just awful.

Danger Zone would have been perfect for when flying jet planes, but they chose a more obscure song instead. As a DJ, he's okay, but Iggy Pop was way better.

R* usually uses artist's less famous songs in gta games for some reason.

I actually like that song, but according to the in-game files, "I'm Alright" was an alternate track of his they had planned.

Wouldn't have minded that being on the station instead. Caddyshack, anyone?

Yeah, that is one of his better tracks I have to admit.

They should have had Kenny's "I'm Alright" playing while you're golfing.  Then have gophers pop up and start dancing.  That would have been epic.  :colgate:

Kenny's a little douche. Really bad at being a DJ in a game based on satire and pessimistic humor. Iggy was f*cking perfect.

Then again, so was post TLaD/TBoGT Liberty Rock Radio. Kenny represents his sh*tty, faggy, aging-hippie rock. If I hear that damn "If you leave me now" Chicago song one more time, some random NPC is gonna be feeling my wrath.

because they want to sound interesting, some people enjoy listening to fresh music not played to the death radio hits

It was cool before but now it is labeled as hipster and all cool people love radio pop... f*ck that i will stay me.

Yep, some "rock" song that is. I feel like I'm hearing it in Shaun of the Ed when Ed goes "who the hell put this on?".

I also feel the radio hosts are Disneyfied. So damn happy with little to no humor to them.

That's Kenny Loggins being the DJ on the ingame radio station!!? Damn! I thought it was just some geek trying to be funny...or something! I mean, no offense to him, I like his songs, but being a DJ in a game....okay.

He does say ''a song made by, well, me'' before playing his own song.
He even says ''Welcome, I'm your DJ Loggings'' something like that.

The only DJ who I find interesting to listen to in GTA V is Keith Morris on Channel X. I just find his moody personality, voice and rants very amusing.

I honestly preferred the pre-GTA IV days when they made fictional DJs and didn't get celebrities. I'm not exactly familiar with established musicians becoming hosts for a radio station during the late years of your career.

I love LSRR. I am a fan of the softer more pop oriented summery rock on there, I think it captures the feel of the game perfectly. (Though I agree it would have made sense to split the radio in half, putting the older slightly harder songs on another, I'd have listened to both stations)

Anyway I think Loggins does a great job. But I am not a fan of the song they chose for him. Danger Zone would have been a much better choice, I'm listening to it right now after going for a long period of not hearing it, and the very moment it started I got the Los Santos vibe, it would have been perfect for the game.

I said it before and I'll say it again:
Anyone else miss the girl in SA that hosted the country radio station and played the harmonica with her vagina?
That's what GTA V needed. I don't mind celebrities, as you mentioned, but Kenny Loggings makes himself sound like he's a subtle but Rock God and how the 70's were great. If Kenny Loggings was playing a crazy, cocaine-addicted version of himself and how he tried to shag Janet Jackson but turns out it was a lamp, I'd be happy.

Yep, bad soundtrack for the most part. Ivan Pavlov or whatever his bloody name is needs the sack. Get someone who knows what good music is and knows how to have consistent radio stations.

Axl Rose was a DJ on K-DST in San Andreas. DJ Pooh from West Coast Classics actually produced SA also.

I'm laughing because Michael's facial expressions while playing golf are hilarious.

That would have been great! There are so many better songs R* could have used, it really disappoint me. :(

I love how Krieger is used for Loggins, now if Krieger was the DJ, things would be very interesting.
