As requested; we also added the feature to use the exact location of an earlier cutscene. Quite useful for making a dialogue.

 

after you posted this, DYOM 8 Should be called "The Forum Dream Update"

that's nice, because cleo 4 also supports more awesome scripts than 3.

I told myself I won't get back to designing if they don't release a new version. You guess what that means now...

 

Well, it'd be f***ing good to see you designing again. But imagine, what would happen, if LnD and Jimmy will use that new version. This is gonna be a new era...

 

And Dutchy, think 'bout something for actors in cars like car animations, choosing between following roads or going straight through routepoints, "race" option and maybe phone-talking for actors and adding SPOOK-O-METER. :D

Hope i see feature like this: an actor chase/follow/attack another actor. So in menu its look like this actor-add actor-choose actor-choose actor weapon-choose actor animation-and then actor follow/attack another actor yes/no-done.

Please stop spamming this topic with your wishes. It reduces the chance that we add that feature to the modification significantly.

I think it may be useless, but could you guys implement on "Player Teleport" a option for the player to spawn "lying down", so it will make the standing up animation? It would be cool for parts where the player may fall uncounscious in a MPack's story :p

 

Camera shaking on normal gameplay would be awesome too, like when the player has taken some weed.

Oh yea, how about hp reducing each second? We can choose the amount. It'll be useful for MPs where the protag is bleeding, require them to find a medkit (objective of course)

How about two ways story? for example: to win choose between two ways, first way kill actor to win and get money or second way let the actor alive and win a car or anything.

I hope you don't mind if I post a few updates if it is possible;

 

1) Improve AI driving, for example; the AI drive okay with aircraft like helicopters and planes but when it comes to driving the Hydra fighter jet it rises a little and falls backward and crashes, so how about a new AI driving route feature that is used in the original game, in the last mission to take out Tenpenny in the firetruck, there is a code used were when ever the Player is near the truck it forces the firetruck to move away from you even if it is beyond the vehicles max speed limit, I think its called RRC.

So I hope that is not to hard, so instead of setting route points, get in a car rather then the jetpack press a button to record Players driving and when finished it'll apply to the A.I.

 

2) Hide Objective Actor/Vehicles.

 

3) Put in a Race Mode?

I think that this car AI "path recording" system was used by gtasearcher in a video on his youtube channel.
 
It's called "carrec" or something.
 
EDIT: I think he deleted the carrec video :\

I think, it will be release around end of december. Because like the previous version (v7), it was released at the end of december.

Could you replace the actor animation "Get/teleport into nearest vehicle"?

 

When chosen to enter a vehicle gives you the option to apply what car the actor should enter.

 

So like - Enter Selected Vehicle [2]

Why not add an option to choose whether to have a fade in/out when a cutscene starts/ends, makes it similar to GTA V's 'blend in cutscenes'

Maybe add longer text duration, because if I make a cutscene in 10s with a text, the text is only appear in about 4s the disappear.
