Hey guys I think I have the most accurate cut song list than anybody else on this forum as there are some people who have the songs in the completely wrong station, such as 90s rock songs in Los Santos Rock Radio, etc. I may be wrong however, but I overall feel that this is the correct cut song list.

Wow almost all of these songs would be an improvement if they had chosen these over what we have. Radio sucks. Hard.

So the next-gen version is out now, and we got 25 cut songs back for that version and so there's now 109 unused tracks. I suspect that there are more cut songs within the files for the next-gen version alone.

That's what I'm curious about, whether or not any songs have been cut from the next-gen version's updated soundtrack. I can't wait for people to start digging through the files and seeing what they find. Some of the songs that people listed as being in leaked/early copies (such as "Hip to be Square" and "Land of Confusion") are not listed in the official list of songs that Rockstar released for the next-gen version. If those songs were ever there to begin with and this wasn't another "Nightride FM"-like fakeout, then I suppose they might be cut in a day 1 patch.

Didn't it take a week or 2 to find the cut songs?

It might have taken a couple of weeks. One of the members on here found a lot of cut songs as well as some interesting stuff about the radio station files, like how Vinewood Boulevard Radio was originally going to be a 90s rock station called P.M.R., and Worldwide FM was going to be a jazz station. I doubt we'll see any cut stations in the next gen files (besides leftovers from last gen), but it wouldn't surprise me if we see more tracks that they didn't use.

Don't know why I'm posting here, but just thought I'd link to a playlist I created with all the songs from Non Stop Pop FM (both last-gen and next-gen combined) for those who don't own the next-gen version yet. I'll make one for the other radio stations later on.

I have to say, after watching American Psycho recently, I'm really disappointed the Huey Lewis song didn't make it into the game. Would have been a good homage considering the other movie songs that have made it into GTA games.

Now that I think about it, LSRR should have mainly been focused on hit songs featured in prominent movies as opposed to pop and yacht rock, it would have fitted both Los Santos and Michael's personality (movie buff). Instead make the Yacht rock station for a future Vice City game, lol.

Anyway, I can see why some of those songs didn't make channel X, I don't think they're bad (massive Channel X fan here) but they lack the intensity and virulence of the tracks that made it in the final product. that said, there's not one of them I wouldn't have liked to see in the game instead of that horrible "John Wayne was a Nazi" song, that one was just bad.

To whomever it may concern: These tracks shouldn't be on the GTA Wiki under 'deleted songs'. Because these are rejected songs, they were never in the game to begin with, so they are not deleted either.

As "Bloodstains" was licensed by Rock* very close to the original release date, if not already past it, it does qualify as "deleted".   I simply don't know at what stage the other recordings got aced.

It could be possible that Rockstar might've tried to get the song again in the PS4, Xbox One & PC versions, but until the PC version is released, we don't know what tracks they cut from that version. After all, they did bring back 25 cut songs from the trackID.gxt2 into those versions.

I'll let you know if they do. (LOL)   As they have a signed agreement in hand they may reason they have no need to do anything but pay;  they generally only effect payment after game release.   Even though I had pieces of 3 songs that were used in the initial release, it was only from the inter-webs did I learn of their actual inclusion, so take a bow for having more up to date information than the people licensing the music.
