I've recently seen all of those except Caligula and they are great family movies.

The Deer Hunter, Reservoir Dogs, The Business, Full Metal Jacket, Pi.

Alright, answering with sincerity now. I'd say Ice Age or Toy Story, given the fond memories I have of watching them as a young lad. Also liked Space Jam when I was a kid. Avalon's probably the ultimate family film.

Family/kiddie movies are going through a slow period these days. I think they were massive in the 80s/90s but now Hollywood seem obsessed with action, horror and "gross-out" comedies. Dunn about movies that came out during 2000's but I remember seeing a sh*ton of 80's kiddie flick when I was like 12. Here's some of my favorite.

Labyrinth - This really got my imaginations going and got me nostalgic for childhood!

The Never Ending story - Filled to the brim with adventures and fantasy.

The Goonies - Adventure comedy. Remember seeing this in highschool.

Benji: The Hunted - comedy movie about a dog.

The Sandlot

Monster Squad - Kind of a horror movie.

Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory.
