As the title suggests, my modded version of GTA IV works fine under regular usage. It is able to load all textures, run above 30 fps, and allows me to complete missions. However, one issue I have been experiencing with my modded version of GTA IV are random crashes to the desktop, with a message "GTA IV has stopped working" when my game is under load (i.e. In the middle of an intensive firefight with the police, explosions on screen). My version is, downgraded from Steam's default

The mods/scripts I currently have installed are:

  • ICEnhancer 2.1
  • Ultimate Real Car Pack v10
  • Simple Native Trainer
  • Traffic Control System
  • First Person Camera

Computer Specifications:

  • Intel Core i7-3770K OC @ 4.2GHz
  • Corsair TX850W 80-plus Bronze
  • MSI Z77-GD65 Gaming LGA 1155
  • Corsair H100i
  • Corsair Vengeance 16GB
  • EVGA GTX 770 SuperClocked w/ACX Cooling 2GB
  • Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
  • Western Digital Black 2TB HDD (Stores GTA IV)

  • Alihunter

    Well, that's embrassing.

Most of car packs is buggy!try to install the car of car pack one by one(with programs like spark iv to add them).then,if you have any problem, tell it here.

i would recommend to reduce the number of scripts myself . if you play missions you don't need native trainer and camera ..

.. this is troubleshooting not IV other
