The clothing and customisation of SR2 and the general body creation of SR3/4? Definitely, those brought a whole new level to open-world game customisation. Undoubtedly taking hints from the Godfather game!

True!

I am now rank 100, and there is not really anything to be excited to rank up to get anything?

The beach bum pack was very very, very poor. The only good things was the car!

OP really needs to describe the customization process for Saint's Row in detail to those who have never played it before.

I guess it would help, yeah. Could have perhaps included a youtube vid of the character creator.

But it's a pretty standard character creator with sliding scales so you can change the shape/size  of most face/body features and the colour of skin/hair/clothes rather than preset colours that you can't alter.

This is non-debatable...for all the time they claimed to have put into this game, GTA:O sucks balls.  It appears all the work went into SP, and MP was broken from the start, and still is.

Wouldn't mind them adding an Expensive Plastic Surgeon (Tip Nuck) later on that you could use once per in-game month, where you could adjust cheekbones, nose, chins, waistline etc

Can't deny that character customization in GTAO is sub-par. Doesn't have to be as goofy as the one in Saints Row, but more choice ANd better yet, better control of the choices you make would be a nice touch.

Select your grandparents ? Shieeeeeet. Is this really 2013 ?

I would prefer All Point Bulletin customization. They likely don't add that level of customization due to lag issues. Often online shooters with that level of customization lag like a mother f*cker.

I would like some sliders instead of parents and grandparents. And I wouldn't mind a basic color wheel for clothing along with more clothing options.

Honestly, as soon as I went to customize my car in single player and couldn't change the wheel size I was super disappointed. It has snow balled from there.

What exactly do you mean? I played SR3 but can't really finger what he means. LIke the wackiness of the costumes? I did like making my guy look like Deadpool, that was cool. But other than that I have no idea.

I mean Saints Row 3 has the option to change the color and size of facial features and the body, and it came with a wilder range of cloths and car mods. With the ability to customize the color shade!

Also as a girl, my characters on GTAV looks more like a man them some of the other guys walking around, I have to wear glasses to hide my face. Also I tower over the guys characters!

I play GTA with a friend very often. Our characters look pretty much the same, except his has a beard and short hair, while mine has no beard and dreads. Both wear shades constantly as they look like they've been at Trevor's meth stash otherwise.

Back when we were playing SR2, my character looked like Jesus (the caucasian version, you know - long hair, beard, halo, flowing white robes), while his character looked like Prop Joe (from The Wire).

The lack of choice and differentiation in GTA character creation and clothing options is disappointing.

For those who aren't familiar with SR character creation, a quick look at YT should show you how much choice was/is offered...

That's shocking, as Rockstar Games kept saying that GTAV is very modern.

I don't really mind what the actual customization is like, what i do mind is having to start the f*ck over on a completely new character if you want to look different.. My character is fine, but still.

They can use saints row 4 driving handling but not a better character sliders.

It also disappointed me on how bad RSG messed up GTA V Online
