We don't need a thread for each marque.

There's only about a dozen people active in the subforum. Though if there's any marque that probably deserves it it's BMW.

Sivis is right, not too many active regulars here and only a couple who have a BMW. Probably better to talk about it in the Post Pic or Car Talk topics as I doubt this will generate enough discussion worthy of it's own thread.

Anyway I have a 740Li F02

I'm no fan of BMW at all(quite the opposite in fact), but I think if any marque is threadworthy, it's BMW

tbh i'm not a big fan of all the recent BMWs. I think they're dull and boring as f*ck, barring most M models of course.

Haha yeah, the other day I was in a car park with my dad and he actually wouldn't believe me when I said that the black debadged 5-series parked three spaces away from the black debadged 3-series were two different cars.

(both new, any previous generation of course has more character)

Nice E39 but the X5 wheels really aren't doing it for me if I'm honest. Do you not have serious rubbing issues on the rear struts due to the offset or are you running spacers?

I'm currently looking for an E39 myself, so will report back here if I've any success.

I've got 25 mm spacers /wheels adapters all round and the offsets are massive wrong on these wheels and the centre bore is too small

Hopefully you won't BS us like you did a few years ago. :p

But yeah, nice car, but those rims don't really fit it.

If you're running 25mm spacers they must be ET45 or ET50? To be honest they look better in silver, but black wheels on anything other than track cars looks a bit try-hard. Personally I think 19's are too big for the E39, with the possible exception of the 10-spoke Style 95s from the E65.

Yeah the wheels are et45 and et48

I wanted those E65 10 spoke's but couldn't find any that weren't silly money. I only paid £100 for the X5 wheels. To cheap to turn down

Always thought it was retarded that E39's used the oddball 74.1 centerbore.

Haha yeah, at that price it'd be silly to not buy them, even if only to use as a coffee table or something.
