I don't mind personal preference of different TV shows. What I do mind is when people label themselves as bronies and tell everyone about it.

And worse-

When they wear fedoras and call girls "m'lady" on the internet.

Goddamn, every time I go to the mall, I have to walk by the Hot Topic to get to where they make custom T-shirts, and every time I see a clan of these loitering in there, I want to throw salt on them and tackle them:

Worst part is when they don't give 2 sh*ts about hygiene and smell awful.
And they wonder why they can't get girlfriends. Makes me mad inside.

Funny, there was a girl just like that who went to my school. She wondered how she could never get a boyfriend, yet always had this pungent musk around her and never ever shaved her armpits. She wore a lot of tank tops.

You've got to be kidding me, you guys have never heard of Steam Punk?

I've heard, but it is ridiculous.

IMO, not meant to offend you but... It is.

Just look at it.

Steam Punks are f*cking awesome, kind of like machinists or something but what the f*ck has this got to do with the subject :p

How did this Brony thing even get started. Who came up with the idea of a bunch of grown men getting into My Little Pony? It almost makes me miss goths and wannabes from the 90s and I couldn't stand them.

^ 4chan wanted to mess with some animation journalist for trashing "cartoons these days", and calling MLP:FiM a cash cow series that would fall out of favor in a year or two and whose only purpose would be to sell toys, so they created interest in the series by word of mouth until it got popular with adults. (I think it was /co/.)

Here's the article that sparked it: http://www.cartoonbr...-era-29614.html

Meh, Cyberpunk is where it's at.

Cybergoths are still pretty lame.

Well, I just looked up plushie and I really, really wish I hadn't... :barf:

...I'll assume that this time you're also being 'weirded out' becuase you're being introduced to something new.

People like stuffed toys, who knew?

Also, to all you people responding to that top-hat-guy picture: you should be circlejerking about how neckbeards suck, not bronies.

Brony != neckbeard.

I mean, I know you all have pretty sh*tty and unfulfilling lives and all, but you really shouldn't be jerking each other off about how you're so much better than these people you call bronies, it's pretty pathetic.

Shh.. If you remind them it'll just end up like the last two threads.

I could have sworn at least one was locked. But no, with the same arguments being tossed back and forth until someone got bored of arguing.

Spoiler

Yeah well wars on the internet are petty, futile and a waste of time even though sitting back and spectating them are rather enjoyable, it doesn't do anyone any good and always ends up doing only harm and no good to both the topic and the members.

Besides who gives a f*ck if Tom, Dick and Harry are Bronies anyway, leave them to it.

I don't get why people enjoy watching little kids shows and horses it scares me a little

Why do people like playing video games? Why do people like reading books? Answer: Because everyone has a different preference on what they like. Why do you care exactly what show someone else watches? It doesn't effect you at all.

To be honest, it's boring. I was hoping for a full-blown war.

The 2010 reboot of MLP is genuinely funny, has quality writing and voice acting, and endearing characters.  A friend writes MLP fan fiction, and the brony community inspired me to get back into drawing.

Well I mean personally I'd say if you're sticking it to a stuffed animal then your life is more unfulfilling than mine, but whatever.
