You know that's not actually real right?
Of course I do, I made it.

Looks too transparent.

How about changing the title to "Grove street graffiti in real computer life"
You got too much glass in your paint.

But it is in the "visual arts", so I would think that you would know it's not real.

We're just pulling your leg a little bit.
What program did you use?

I'm saying most likely Photoshop or similar free-ware (like GIMP, Paint.NET, etc).
I'd say the biggest thing when you're 'making graffiti' in PS or any other similar software is to not make things too transparent, especially if the shadow is noticeably transparent like yours is. You should also work with perspective as well, depending on what time of base image you use, like for example in the image below.
I really think the key is to make your graffiti look solid and like I said - depending on what you're working with - perspective. That's really it.

This was done in gimp, and I could of made it look better, but you wouldn't of even known what it said then. That is my only problem I had.

Nice one, Mock. Trick is making sure that it's not too transparent, since it's 'paint' it shouldn't have the bricks color showing through.. though it should have the texture.

I had to do it quickly because it was midday.
Of course someone called the cops, and I forgot the cans in the crime scene!
